Although your house is 110 VAC. Your dryer hookup should be 220 VAC. The washer is a 110 VAC appliance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is safe to run a 220 vac dryer with a 110vac plug? Please reply to 5594336688
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All homes are wired for 110 with 2 exceptions, you should have a 220 connection for your range and one for your dryer. Since most dryers are set up for 220 with the exception for gas dryers then you should be safe if your home was wired for standard washers and dryers, you should be safe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your washing machine should run on a standard 110 outlet. Most dryers will not only require a special outlet and enough power to run them, but a special cord to match. If you don't have a dryer outlet established and properly wired, call an electrician. They'll "hook you up." :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most washers run on 110 and use a regular 3 prong plug YOU HAVE TO GET A SPECIAL DRYER THEY ARE ALL 220 I JUST WENT THROUGH THIS I FINALLY HAD TO ORDER A GE PORTABLE DRYER THAT TAKES 110. THEY TAKE ABOUT TWICE AS LONG TO DRY THANK A REGULAR VOLT DRYER, BUT THEY DO WORK. IT WAS MY ONLY OPTION BUT I AM HAPPY WITH IT
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.110 volts is okay for washers. If you buy an electric dryer then you'll need 220 volts. More than likely.
