• The tape is used to secure the ducting if a clamp is not able to be used or if you puncture you vent. Never use standard duct tape due to it being a fire hazzard once it dries out.

• The tape is an aluminum tape that is used to seal the seams where the the tube connects to the dryer or wall vent.
