To answer my own question, I recently pulled the trigger and bought the soundbar and sub.....and YES!!!!!!! the bass, along with the rest of the sound, is AWESOME!!!!! Even with the high, vaulted ceiling and the open room concept, the bass is very impressive at both low and high volume levels. Can't wait to add a couple of speakers to the mix.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a ~1200 Sq. Ft. room with 10 Ft. ceilings and the Base is great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes...I have 27ft ceilings in huge indistriial loft style condo and it works amazingly well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no issues in my living room and it is very large and open to kitchen with high ceilings as well. Fills all the space no problem and plenary loud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have the ability to adjust the sub level manually or with the Sonos app. Sounds crazy, but with the app you take your phone slowly around the room and it EQ's everything for you. Nice feature!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would be shocked if you didn't get quality bass. I have an open area as well and a 2 story. The good thing is if it doesn't work for you then you can return it but if you have the cash to spend I'm betting you don't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Impossible to say without knowing the last sub-woofer. Ceiling isn't that big a deal with enough power. They "load" best in corners most every time. if you had the small Bluetooth sub it would be impossible to pull it off. This is a good sub but depends on the room size. I have a Klipsh 10" sub as the mail home theater and this is respectable in comparison. Try it out you have nothing to loose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the sub can be placed anywhere in the room and creates great bass and be adjusted based on the location.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes!!! Big time!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i think that would be difficult for someone to comment on based on the info in the question. What I can say is that Sonos has an app to help tune your system to the room. I have mine in a large gameroom open to a stairwell. The gameroom ceiling is 13ft and the bass will shake the walls and you can feel it in your chest. We had to dial it back to keep it from overwhelming the other ranges.
