The number of songs will vary on format type and file size. Depend on what type of music you are going to transfer to a USB storage device. If you have music files on CD, using a computer would be the fastest way to transfer them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The amount of total songs you can fit would depend on the file size. MP3s with a 192 kbps are smaller than ones that are 256 or 320 kbps. I recently had appx 630 tracks on flash drive that was about 2.2GB of 8GB PNY drive. Most were either 256 or 320 kbps. There are several ways to do .. I copy single tracks to the selected drive.. it takes more time, but I didn't want to copy folders to the drive. That would have been much faster if you want entire album of tracks. You can copy track or folder to drive by either right clicking and use the "send to" method or left click item and select "copy selected item(s) and choose the desired location from pop up menu. Ctrl A combo will "select all" good luck
