All four HDMI ports support 4k resolution, however, ports two and three are the only ones that support HDR and will provide better image processing. You can change the video setting as follows: Settings--Picture&Display--Picture Adjustments--Advanced Settings--Video Options. You can change the coding, refresh rate, bit settings, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Technically, you can get 4k through all 4 HDMI ports. Ports 1 and 4 max out at 4k @24fps, where 2 and 3 can do up to 60fps. For standard 1080p, the port won't matter. One other thing: not all content is created equal. With just our local news, there are some stations that look amazing, but another one that is just ok. The TV can upscale to a degree, but content source matters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All HDMI ports support 4K and 1080P so you can connect to any. It does same processing on all ports and has a great picture regardless. It does upscale video processing so standard definition looks great as well.
