• The reply from Sony in this thread seems to contradict the manual and the option on the TV that allows it to be set as a center speaker. According to the manual, the 3.5 mm connector is the input, and the Sound Settings on the TV have the option of using it as a center speaker. Is there any way we can get a quality response from Sony on this?

• The A80J can only function as the center channel with an approved Sony soundbar or Sony home theater system. If you go with the A90J then the TV can function as the center channel for any home theater system.

• Hi teebirdie, Thanks for the question. The A80J is not compatible with Center speaker mode. For compatibility, you will need to step up to the BRAVIA XR A90J MASTER Series OLED. Regards, Erin
