Yes ,I just did this myself. On your Sony remote, hit settings button. Then scroll to the right until you tech “ Power on behavior. Highlight “Last input” That should do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With an Android-enabled TV, if you are signed into a Google account on the TV it will always default to the Home screen on power up. If you sign out, it will default to last used input. Took me months to figure this out.

Pressing the Settings button and then scrolling to the right to “power on behaviour” and then pressing “last input” works perfectly to bypass the Home Screen. The only issue is that the tv still shows the menu bar across the bottom of the screen every time the tv is turned on. Is there a setting to make it so the menu bar doesn’t come on automatically across the screen every time the tv is turned on? Yes I can make it go away by pressing TV or back button but is there a setting to keep it from automatically appearing every time the tv is powered on?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Scroll down until you see system then scroll right then scroll down to power & energy then scroll right to power on behavior then scroll right once more and it will have the option on the list
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are signed into a Google account on the Android TV it will always default to the Home screen on power up. You sign out of that and try. If that does not help then do a factory reset after logging out of google account. And then it will auto restart. Then just select language, select the time zone and accept the agreements to finish the setup. Thats it, skip all other steps. Do not complete the full android set up and do not login to android account. Now navigate to HDMI using TV emote. Now it will default to last used input once you switch off and switch on the TV.
