QuestionDo you have to have the game disc in the PS5 in order to/while playing on the PlayStation Portal? Or can you play the games on the Portal as long as you have the game installed on the PS5 (without the disc inside the PS5)?

- Answer digital games just have to be installed. games requiring a disc must have disc in the console.

QuestionWondering how this is different than just using your phone or tablet. Tried doing the remote play but never get good connection and this is using my home WiFi. Until they fix the connectivity issues I do t see this being any different.

- Answer Sony controls both sides of the connection. The device doesn’t have any competing background connections that could degrade your experience on a phone.

- Answer No, this will only remotely stream the same screen that you would see if you were at the console, only 1 user.

QuestionWill I be able to save data if I play from the Ps5 Portal, for example if I am playing a season Of any sport game... Can I save the process and when I start from my ps5 console will I keep that progress.

- Answer You should be able to. The Portal does not save or process any actual game data locally, it streams from your PS5. Any saving or game data altering is being done on the PS5, not the Portal.

QuestionWhen in the world is Best Buy going to do something about the scalpers who are buying up the entire stock of the Portal? Seriously, they need to make this a pick-up only item. It said it was in-stock less than 20 minutes ago!

- Answer They will never answer this question. I literally successfully added the item to my cart only for it to disappear and say unavailable. I had to complain to customer service for them to allow me to have it shipped in 3 weeks. It's sad.

QuestionAnyone else having an issue with, clicking "add to cart" then a "verifying " window pops up, log in, then when it goes back to the portal the "add to Cart" is gone? but doesn't say sold out or unavailable.

QuestionMy Nephew has a ps5 and it works until he plays Fortnite and then it overheats and its when he plays Fortnite do you know what would cause it? And if i buy him a Ps5 Portal and he played Fortnite on it would it overheat or should it be fine?

- Answer Usually the portal is best with single player games when I tried playing with multiplayer games it would have a couple seconds lag other than that yes it would work. The other problem would be that your PlayStation would still be on while the portal is being used so there is still a chance the PlayStation could overheat. Maybe trying to clean out any dust in the fans or even buying an attachment fan could work .
