Yes, but keep in mind that not only do you need to have a fast hotspot, your home internet has to have a fast UPLOAD speed. I used mine remotely using T-Mobile 5G, I was pulling over 200Mbs on my cellular, but at my home even though I have Spectrum 500Mbs service, I only get 5Mbs-9Mbs UPLOAD speeds, which is not great, so even though my T-Mobile was blazing fast the stream was choppy and laggy at times because of my home internet Upload Speed, even though I have 500Mbs service (I usually pull closer to 380Mbs)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, just have to have a speed of 5Mbps or more

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe that the Playstation portal can play on any wifi, however sony reccomends a wifi connection of at least 15mbps for the most optimal performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it absolutely can. Portal can be used anywhere WiFi is available. It’s honestly pretty funny what you’ve done here though, nice try.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony has been very clear that this must be on the SAME home network as the PS5, not just be at least 5Mbs, but also in your home. They are considering adding that feature later. Here is one of their many quotes on this: "With PlayStation Portal™ Remote Player on your home Wi-Fi connection1, you have more flexibility to play in any room where you live1 with no TV required."
