No, this unit is an optional speaker and can only be connected with compatible models: HT-A9, HT-A7000, and HT-A5000. For SRS-XP 500, you can enjoy listening to music of a BLUETOOTH device and operate it by the speaker via BLUETOOTH connection if it supports the following BLUETOOTH profiles: A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) For Stereo connect function, 2 SRS-XP700 or SRS-XP500 speakers are required. By connecting 2 speakers via BLUETOOTH connection, you can enjoy more powerful sound. By connecting multiple devices (up to 100 devices) compatible with the Party Connect function, you can liven up parties with loud volume. Devices compatible with the Party Connect function: LSPX-S3, SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500, SRS-XG500, SRS-XG300, SRS-XB43, SRS-XB33, SRS-XB23, SRS-XE300, SRS-XE200 Our HT-A9 Home Theater System, HT-A7000 and HT-A5000 Soundbar and optional speakers have been designed under a common Omnidirectional Block concept. The design of the SA-SW3 is a perfect match for these systems. Its sophisticated rounded edges represent a single solid block providing wide-spreading sound. The combination of rich material textures emphasises an affinity with any living room environment. Hope this helps. ~Earl
