This is a standard although upscale bluray player. it is not region free. You will not find a region free player in any stores. You will need to do a search online for a modified player. I do believe 3d discs will play just fine as long as your tv is capable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is not a region free Blu-ray player. There is a region free version for twice the price (I own 2 older region free Sony players that aren't 4K). I'm new to 4K but I'm told 4K discs are region free.
