- Answer I prefer the over the Sony ear head phones to the Apple airpods. I like the sound better but most of all they are much more comfortable for long flights. Most of the passengers are now using the over the ear type.

QuestionWith the XM4's, I found that the ANC doesn't mask higher frequency sounds, like voices and train wheels squealing - if anything, it makes higher frequencies more perceptible. I've read the specs, but in the real world, do these cancel higher frequencies?

- Answer I don't own the Sony NW-A306 Walkman. However, I own an earlier Sony Walkman Model and it connects easily with the Sony WH10000M5 Headphones. Make sure that you are using the latest upgrade to the Bluetooth Headphone app on your Sony Walkman for the best results with connectivity with the headset.

QuestionI read one of the cons versus the previous model is that it does not fold up making it easier to transport. I travel a lot for work so it’s important that my tech is easy to carry around. Is the XM5 worth the upgrade or should go with the XM4?

- Answer Yeah a lot of complaints under the ear-headband connection about breakage - I don't know what these people are doing with there headphones. I have not had any inkling of a problem. Of course I don't through them across the room or let my dog chew on them.

- Answer Sorry no. Once you plug in a charger - the headphones stop. But w/ Battery life of a day .... plus, you can keep track of your charge buy pressing the on/off. You of course can get a couple of additional hours w/ a charge plug in for a very short time - I get 2 hours w/ 15 min of charge time easy.

- Answer of course, but they ANC is designed for low freq sound so you are still going to hear the mower. Plus, the overall noise reduction is not as great as heavy equipment safety muffs

- Answer As loud as is safe. Many people confuse loudness with distortion. The distortion on these head phones is incredibly low. So when you crank them up - they are very loud, but w/o distortion - like you will get when you crank skull candy headphones.

- Answer Included is a very short USB-C to USB-C cable intended for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone cable for connection to other devices. Use caution with the "not allowing wireless" part - if you are not allowed to connect wireless devices to your computer then you should be fine, but even when plugged in these headphones still have the ability to transmit and receive signals, so these headphones should not be used in a totally locked down wireless environment.
