Wireless headphones don't require a wire to connect to the audio source. The audio is instead transmitted via Bluetooth. They're not called true wireless because they still have a wire running between the earpieces. Wireless headphones are available as on-ear/over-ear headphones and as earbuds. You can tell the difference because the two earpieces are actually connected. True wireless headphones don't have any wires whatsoever. They connect to the audio source using Bluetooth (and sometimes 2.4GHz wireless), and each earpiece is physically independent. True wireless headphones are only available as earbuds. Each pair of true wireless headphones has a primary and a secondary earpiece. The primary earpiece is connected to the audio source and sends the signal onto the secondary earpiece.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.True Wireless These headphones not only lack wires between the device and headphones, they also lack wires between the headphones themselves. (true wireless is really only possible with in-ear headphones) Basically, it means that there are wires that connect the left to the right side, whereas earbuds are truly wireless because they don't connect to each other
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am wondering the same thing. Is it wireless or not?! is my question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If they can make those tiny earbuds "true wireless," why can't they do it with much larger "over the ear headphones?" Is there some law that forbids them to do it? Or,.. maybe.... it's just that....nobody ever thought to do it? I wonder about these things. I WANT TO KNOW, DARN IT!!!
