A:AnswerYes, this headset is wireless without a wire to the controller. It uses a little wireless dongle that plugs into the Xbox. That dongle also works on PC, PlayStation, Switch and Android phones.
A:AnswerMake sure the dongle switch is set to Xbox and plugged into the front of your Xbox. Not the back. Power the headset on and hold the power button for 6 seconds. Also make sure you have the Xbox exclusive pair that come on a green box like this. The other arctis 1 wireless sets are not wirelessly compatible with Xbox.
A:AnswerYes the mic works. The only downside is that there are not individual volume controls for game & chat.
Check out this review on Youtube, it's I have found it pretty spot on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2bnv0VLM54&t=383s
A:AnswerI have three of these headsets in my small home, each connected to a different Xbox console. We have had no problems with interference. We are usually within roughly 25 feet of each other when these are being used.
A:AnswerYes they will. I am currently using it daily with my Xbox series X and they work great. I was using it at first with my Xbox one X and once I got my Xbox Series X I was able to pair it with that one as well.
A:AnswerThe charging port is Micro. The Wireless dongle is USB C, but also has an extension for USB A. It also allows for a wired aux connection and come with cable.
A:AnswerPart 1: Plug the dongle into the usb port either on the front or the rear of the console.
Part 2: Ensure the xbox mode is switched on, on the back of the dongle. Power on when console is turned on.
A:AnswerYes these will work with ps4, there’s a switch on the dongle to go from Xbox to usb so you’d just have to put it on usb for ps4. I use them on my Xbox one but they are really versatile. You could even use it on an android phone if it has a usb-c port.
A:AnswerIt does come with an input on headset to attach the included 3.5mm cable to controller. It is stereo.
You can use it that way in case batteries die.
A:AnswerThey’re plastic , feel very light but they have a elastic band under the actual head liner so they’re pretty stable . Have the same issue with my son and he’s actually kept them like new . The wireless makes it more easier for the the little ones as I assume he jumps around playing and with wire that would yank on the set to make them readjust , definitely recommend these as they are wireless .
