QuestionHow is the viewing angle on the 55" specifically? CR rates it as "fair". I'm coming from a 720p plasma, so while I expect the picture on the TCL to be better in every regard, I am concerned about the viewing angle. How wide can I go and still look OK?

- Answer There's just no comparing any LCD TV to the excellent viewing angle of a Plasma TV, you'd have to get an OLED TV for that. However, viewing angle aside, this TV is worlds better than your old one, as you can imagine. Its viewing angle isn't the worst, I'd describe it as "fair" as well, at least as good as (probably better than) your average VA LCD screen. Subjectively, it seems actually better than some Samsung TVs that cost more, to me. I bought 2, both sizes, and I think I got my money's worth overall.

QuestionDoes this TV support the Xfinity Streaming Beta App? I have checked the xfinity support site & all they say: Roku TVs: A000X, C000X, 5000X, 6000X, 7000X, 8000X However, that model number doesn't correspond with anything I can find TCL brand or otherwise

- Answer The Xfinity Stream Beta App is available on the TV's menu of downloadable apps, which leads me to believe it's supported. Not being an Xfinity customer myself, I can't attest to its effectiveness.
