QuestionWhat is the distance between the legs on the 65 inch model and is there only one position for the legs?

- Answer For this 65 inch TCL Roku TV, there are actually 2 different options for feet placement. At the wider position, the feet spacing to fit on a stand is 51.4 inches. At the more narrow position, the feet spacing to fit on a stand is 21.7 inches. You would simply choose whichever option would best fit your home setup. Additionally, the stands now include an Easy Cable Management feature that makes it simpler to organize your cables. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionI bought this TV and it seems a bit grainy with my cable box. Did I get a bad TV or is this normal with cable boxes? I don't know if I am being too harsh or what. I am going to try upgrading my HDMI cable soon just to see.

- Answer If online streaming and Blu-ray’s display fine, and it is only cable that is grainy, then it’s probably not a bad tv. You’re displaying a low resolution image (cable) on a high resolution tv. Essentially all cable is still 720p or 1080i (which is half the vertical resolution as 1080p) and it's generally compressed quite a bit in order to accommodate more channels. What you're seeing is due to the original signal being already pretty terrible and then upscaling that lower resolution content to high resolution 4K screen. You’re on the right track with trying an new HDMI cable. Look for one that is ultra high speed certified. It might help some with your issue. Also check your cable box settings to see if it is set to 1080 resolution. But in the end cable will almost never be as clear on a 4K tv as streaming.

- Answer This panel does not have a HDMI 2.1 port so the bandwidth will not support 4k@120 FPS. If you are going to invest in a PS5/Xbox, get a panel with a 2.1 input.

- Answer Currently, our Roku based TVs do not support Bluetooth. If you are trying to connect a sound bar or speakers you can use the Optical port, or the HDMI ARC port. For Headphones, there is a Headphone jack on the back of the TV, or you can download the Free Roku app for private listening. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionIs the 2 or 5 year Geek Squad protection plan worth the money? The tv is only $900 so spending $180 for a 5 year plan is 20% of the TV’s cost. Wife is saying no, I’m a believer in yes. Thoughts?

- Answer There are a total of 4 mounting holes. 2 of them have screws in them, and should be removed. We recommend using the appropriate M6 screws that come in most mounting bracket screw kits. - Answer The standard for minimum viewing distance is 1.5x the diagonal screen measurement (A.k.a. Screen Size). So, for a 65", it would be 65 + 32.5 = 97.5", or 8' 1.5".

- Answer In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). There are no fees to simply use the Roku OS. TCL Roku TVs have access to thousands of streaming channels, and over 500,000 movies and tv episodes to fulfill almost any streaming need. - Answer All HDMI ports on this model support these features. In Settings > Inputs, you can select what HDMI mode to use, as well as enable the option to use VRR when available. The system defaults to “Auto” for the mode, but may give the optimal option for the connected device.
