All new TCL Roku TVs come with a standard one-year part and labor warranty. You can visit https://support.tcl.com/us/03-tcl-tv-warranty-information for more specific warranty questions. An extended warranty would be more of a personal preference/decision. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

If the insurer is right, you *expect* (in the probabilistic sense) to lose money by buying the insurance. But expectation in that sense is not everything. IF the insured event -- in this case, the need for parts and/or service -- might be expensive enough that it would make a significant difference to your financial life and the premium(s) are affordable, go for it. For example, for most people home insurance is a reasonable purchase, but paying to insure a toaster wouldn't be. Where Geek Squad protection for this product falls on the scale for you, only you can decide.
