QuestionHello, I am looking to buy a dash cam with both front and rear recording but also have a good video quality. Also, one that could record even when my vehicle is parked. What would be the best choice out there to go with?

- Answer After doing a ton of research, I bought the F200 from bestbuy because it can be hardwired to have a parking mode and the App will save battery, The camera in rear runs about 30FPS but this is fine if you get into an accident because all you need is proof. If you are filming a movie, by all means, spend the money for the best. I did the smart decision in my opinion

QuestionWhen you say it runs at night will it record motion? Say if I park behind a car will it record someone breaking into a car in front of me?

- Answer If you use the hardwire kit, yes. Any motion detected by either camera will cause that camera to begin recording.

- Answer Hi There, To playback footage there is two options. The first option is to connect to the camera via Wifi with your mobile phone and review footage on our Thinkware Cloud App. The second option it to put the MicroSd into your PC/Mac and review footage with our PC Viewer Software. QuestionDoes wi-fi have to be on, to record video?

- Answer Hello There, As soon as the F200 Dash Cam boots up and you hear "Continuous Recording will now start" the device is recording constantly. When you connect to the WiFi and are using the Mobile App the Dash Cam stops recording until disconnected. You are unable to connect to the WiFi and record footage at the same time.

- Answer Hi there, You can use the Thinkware hardwiring cable with the F200. Yes, the camera records motion or if there is an impact while parked. There is a built-in voltage meter to ensure it does not drain your vehicle's battery completely. Kind regards, Thinkware Customer Support. .

- Answer Hello Ken, The F200 supports up to 128GB SD Cards. This will provide you with a total of 16 Hours of footage before overwriting. If you have a Rear Cam as well this will equal 8 Hours of Front Footage, and 8 Hours of Rear Footage before overwriting the oldest files.

- Answer Hello There, Unfortunately remote viewing is not possible with the F200 Dash Cam. Our Cloud-Enabled Dash Cams are the F800PRO, Q800PRO and U1000. If powered with the Thinkware Hardwiring, OBD-II Cable, or iVolt Battery Pack the dash cam will have the option of Motion Detection, and Energy Savings Mode when the ignition is off.

- Answer Made in Korea. No, there is no built in battery. Buy the Hardwire option and it will stay connected using your vehicle battery.

QuestionWhat GB memory card does this came with?

- Answer I have a Thinkware F200. It comes with a 32gb card. It will only record about 6 hours on a 32gb card, before overwriting oldest video file. I upgraded to 128, which will do about 24 hours of recording before it overwrites the oldest video. I leave my camera run 24 hours a day, since there is so much going on outside my home. Hope to catch something! It does not run my battery down, since i drive it every day. I purchased a 128gb SanDisk Ultra Plus MicroSDXC UHS-1 Card that is supposed to run up to 100mb/s. Just stuck it in and formatted it and it worked fine! I have not had any troubles with my camera yet. I download the recordings to my computer, which takes about 30 to 45 minutes. I wish now that i had bought 2 128gb cards, so i could just rotate them every day. Hope this helps! Ray128

- Answer Hello There, All Thinkware Dash Cams automatically overwrite the oldest files so the SD Card is never full. This can disabled in the Memory Card Settings, If you prefer.

- Answer I really don’t think it would unless they passed fro the front or back of the car. That’s why I got a very large memory card and leave it on continuous mode if I’m not parked in my garage. This way you can see what happened leading up to it and after proving that they did it.

- Answer Yes, for an additional charge you can have the geek squad install the cameras and hard wire it to your vehicle.with so many aggressive drivers in todays world along withnot using turn signals and brake light inoperative,this is an ideal item which should be standard equipment for todays vehicles.
