• A:Answer The routing software on this is based on vehicles. You might find that you will be routed under low bridges or narrow streets that trucks are not allowed. I would recommend looking into the truck version of a gps as their software factors in the hazards of big trucks.

• A:Answer Not that i know. in my case i had already an account for TomTom "MyDrive Connect" and that connects into at my PC. Worth to mention though is that once you setup your unit. Map updates and so can be coveniently done via wireless through your wifi.

• A:Answer The TomTom does connect to my Onstar Wi-Fi to download updates while in my Silverado. I don’t know what starlink is. However, TomTom will direct as long as it has power, wether I be in my truck, or on my bicycle.

• A:Answer Absolutely! , I bought mine a few years back , and has been a ( besides an incredible tool , also a marriage saver.. if you know what I mean; i.e. driving with your wife next to you at unknown places can be very stressful if you are unfamiliar with the roads and especially with those -one way- roads. ) Although never traveled to Canada (yet) , but all US and Mexico (From Tijuana to Cancun in Mexico with no issues) with very accurate maps (only one time the map did not show a recent built highway here at the US) but other than that, Overall is great to not depend on Cellular data but from a satellite signal. Again is probably one of the best things I have bought in the last few years. I'm really happy with it.

• A:Answer I only use this in my truck. It upgrades wireless with Wi-Fi. You would need to Google if it will do trail maps. Sounds like solution might already be in place with your phone. Happy Trails!
