• A:Answer Thanks for the question. Yes, this Canvio Basics external hard drive is compatible with Playstation 4. However, you may have to reformat the drive to the FAT 32 file structure in order for it to be compatible with the Playstation 4. If you do have to reformat the drive it will erase the contents from the drive.

• A:Answer Yes. My grandson wanted an external drive for his Xbox One and I recommended this one. Took less than 2 minutes to install. The Xbox recognizes it and requires you to format it to use it with the Xbox. It asks you if you want to format it. Say yes. Then you can select if you want your games saved on it. All questions and prompts from Xbox. There are instructions on the Xbox One website about adding an external hard drive. Very easy to do. My grandson has had no issues with it.

Q: Questionwhy won't it work on multiple laptopsI just bought this hard drive and it worked fine on my laptop, but once I hooked it up to a different laptop it became a read-only and I couldn't move or add files or drag and drop anything. Do you know how to change this? It is for my boss and she needs to be able to use it on her laptop too.

• A:Answer If you're using Windows use the following steps: 1. Start -> Control Panel (use classic view) 2. Double click Administrative Tools 3. Double click Computer Management There will be several expandable "trees" to choose from, expand the storage tree and double click "disk management" Right click the drive in question and select Change drive letter and paths. This should resolve your issue.

• A:Answer Yes. But you need an adapter cord to have the WiiU power the hard drive. dual A to Micro-B USB 3.0 Y Cable, Black It splits it into two USB plugs that will plug into the WIiU which has 4 USB ports. So it would take 2 of the 4 spots.
