The same way it works with any other Internet Service Provider and a modem. Plug the modem into proper port on this router, and you have wifi. Probably better than the crap the ISPs "rent" to you.

TP-Link routers can be used with virtually any Internet provider, as long as the router is connected directly to your existing Internet source (e.g., modem, ONT, gateway) via Ethernet cable. In the event that your Internet provider requires the presence of specific hardware like an ONT, modem, or gateway, this router likely will not be able to fully replace your provider's hardware; however, it can be used in conjunction with it.
