Q: QuestionAre there limitations on what the usb port can be used for on the m9 plus? Can a usb external drive or usb thumb drive be used to store and access photos and other files over the wi-fi network?

• A:Answer The USB port appears to be restricted to "future use". It is able to charge / power devices, but NOT exchange data with them.

Q: QuestionDo you have to daisy chain hardwire Ethernet between the 3 units to take advantage of the 5GHz Backhaul? Can I connect 2 devices to the ports of 1 of the units and get wireless backhaul to modem that is better than wireless only?

• A:Answer No, the Deco M9 Plus has a separate, dedicated 5GHz band, to ensure optimal performance for the WiFi backhaul. That being said, you can use the Dynamic Backhaul feature by combining both WiFi and/or Ethernet backhaul options per your preference within your network. Yes, once you have installed the Deco M9 Plus successfully, you can connect LAN/Ethernet devices to the available Ethernet port(s) on each Deco M9 unit and they will have network access.

Q: QuestionI was wondering about the range of these also how many devices can you hook up.? I currently have over 50 devices on WI-FI. I’m currently running with Spectrums latest tri-band router. When I ask them how many there router supports, no one seems to know.

• A:Answer It should work with any router, however you need to do the setup as APs only. By default one device becomes a router and the others access points. I am very happy with my install but it is off a cable modem. The speed on my wireless increased tremendously but sharing on a 4G connection may not be as dramatic.

• A:Answer It is a router with the addition of WIFI boosting with the Router units using multiple communication channels to reinforce signal between all units and the devices connected to the WIFI or alternatively directly to a unit with ethernet cabling. You can use existing CAT6 wiring to provide wire communication between units as well; the P9s use a signal through electrical connection to create this additional channel.
