Q: Question2 questions: 1. Can these be programmed to turn on then off at specific times of day on an ongoing basis? 2. Can these be linked to Alexa for use while inside the home?

• A:Answer Yes, you plug the plug into the wall and then plug the lamp/coffee maker, etc into this plug. You will need to add it to your Alexa account and Alexa will work once the setup is completed. Also, you will need to download the Kasa app and you can set a timer/schedule, etc Also you can tell Alexa to turn it on or off. I have 6 of these and I tell Alexa to turn on the lights if I want the lights on before the scheduled time. works great for what I want them to do.

If by "5G" you are asking about 5G cellular data Internet services - the smart plug should be able to connect to your router as long as it is broadcasting 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. However, if by "5G" you are referring to 5GHz Wi-Fi, the answer would be no; 2.4GHz is required.

Q: QuestionMy router from Cox only broadcasts a 5ghtz signal. (I'm not talking about your cellphone 5g). Many smart plugs only work with 2.4ghtz. does anyone know if I can use these with my home wifi that only broadcasts 5ghtz?
