- Answer When I first connected the mic it was difficult to put in there but it was fine after. I would take it back and see if you may have a defective product.

- Answer Bring it into best buy and have it looked at. If eligible, you will walk out with a new one and your 2-year coverage begins again if it's less than a year old, and if in the 2nd year, just pay for the 2-year coverage on the new replacement.

- Answer I know for a fact that it will work for Windows 10. Once you plug in the USB dongle, Windows will detect it, download the proper driver for it, and install it automatically. I cannot speak for Windows 7 or older. I tested it once it was installed with games, movies, YouTube, and even audio record and everything works.
