My mom is saying that you need internet to a gizmo watch is it true yes or no
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The GizmoWatch 2 cannot access the internet. It does, however, use a very tiny amount of data each month--less than 0.01 GB--for its location function (i.e., being able to see from a different phone where the GizmoWatch is on a map). However, even though the GizmoWatch uses less that 0.01 GB, Verizon still charges a full data plan even if the GizmoWatch 2 is the only device on your Verizon plan. The cheapest data plan you can get is the 5GB plan, which was at $30 but is not at $36. So if you only have a GizmoWatch 2 on a Verizon plan, your average bill from Verizon looks like this: $10 for the GizmoWatch 2 phone line + $5 surcharges + $36 for their cheapest data plan (5GB). So the lowest amount you will pay for service each month will be about $50--every single month--for basically just calling and a very limited form of texting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has changed in last 30-60 days. The GizmoWatch devices are now pulling multiple data packets daily of 0.06 GB (yes , GIGA bytes). Over 30 days,it adds up to more than 2GB for the device?? Something changed, and no support from Verizon.
