- Answer Yes. This needs to be connected to a computer to work. It is also compatible with some Android devices, although I think it needs an additional adapter that is not included.

QuestionI saw that you said that you can do animation with the right software. Does that mean that this doesn’t come with the software? I want to start an instagram drawing account and an animation youtube channel. Would it work well with both of those?

- Answer The tablet does not come with any applications or programs for you draw on. This is just an extra screen you can draw on. You can’t use it unless you plug it into a computer with programs to draw and animate already on it.

Questioni only have 1 hdmi port to my desktop and my monitor is connected to it. Can i connect the wacom hdmi to my monitor instead? would that work?

- Answer Yes you can with an adapter. Usually via the HDMI to mini display port. Best Buy sells such units, but not all of them are compatible with Macs so beware. I’m not sure which ones work with PCs, but to even connect my iMac to the Wacom One I had to go to Amazon for a StarTech USB-C to HDMI adapter. Hope this helps ;0)

QuestionDoes this work with a chromebook? Also, I want to use this to teach math. I don't want to video tape myself just math problems. Will this work or is there something else I should use?

- Answer You need to have a USB port outlet and an HDMI cable (I think) outlet on your device. I'm not familiar with Chromebook products, but if you have the two ports in the photo I left, you should be good to go. I highly recommend viewing Stacy Roshan's YouTube video on teaching math with the Wacom One tablet. MathontheWeb is also worth viewing via YouTube. I love using the Wacom One tablet for teaching live via Zoom and BigBlueButton (Canvas). I don't use my Webcam...just use audio and draw more detail into the slides as I present them to students.

- Answer From my knowledge, it’s compatible with MacBook and PC and all updates for them. For PC, it’s windows 7, 8, and 10. For MacBook it’s from iOS 10.13 or later. I personally use my MacBook Air for it. And it works fine. Haven’t tested it with windows though. Also read that chrome book is compatible too. Lots of options. My suggestion is that you work with whatever you’re comfortable with. I don’t think it’s worth learning the functions of a MacBook if you’re already familiar with windows.

- Answer Thank you for the question. The Wacom One cables do include a HDMI cable. If you want to use it with your current laptop you will need to purchase an adapter that will allow it to connect. Regards

QuestionIs says it can come with software like a 3 month license to Clip Studio Paint. Is that a separate purchase or an add on?

- Answer Mine certainly did come with a 3 month license to Clip Studio. It also came with varying months of other art programs like Corel and Adobe products. On a side note, I enjoyed Clip Studio so much that I bought it after using it a few times.

- Answer It is just a tablet, if you need to expand memory that would be fore your laptop. Think of the tablet as if it were a monitor in this case.
