- Answer If you selected the free installation option then they should have done it for you. Our delivery guy said the same thing but it was because we didn't have any hoses. We thought they were bringing them. Hoses were supposed to be suggesting during checkout but they were not so we had to go to the store and buy them and reschedule the installation. I would suggest that you do the same--reschedule

- Answer Yes, they will stack the washer and dryer if you buy a kit. I just experienced this, stacking the units was included in the install.

QuestionDo I need new water drain hose? ordered the steel hot and cold water ones.

- Answer We got a new Maytag washer and it is best to get new hoses. We got the steel hot/cold ones. After watching the was for a few loads, we determined we weren't getting enough water. My husband replaced the cold hose with our old one and we used cold water and the flow was correct. He returned the steel hoses and got new hoses with the correct inside diameter. The steel hoses' inside diameter was too small and they did not allow enough water to flow. The larger size diameter hoses do. Now, we get enough water to wash the clothes. We were told to get new hoses, our hoses were old, so it is best to get new ones, but make sure the inside diameter works for your washer. Hope that helps.

QuestionWhen purchasing a washing machine from Best Buy with installation services, would it be okay to purchase the hoses separately? I found cheaper ones elsewhere. I’m thinking that as long as they’ve never been used it should be okay?

QuestionWhy did the installer refuse to install my washing machine and insist that I need to have my valves replaced by a plumber? The valves were difficult to close at first and have some normal oxidation.

- Answer The same thing happened to me. He apologized and showed me a video why and what happens once they open they may leak and cause damage. If it shows any corrosion they dont want to be liable.

- Answer If brand new, possibly a manufacturing problem. If Best Buy can't answer it, I would check with the manufacturer themselves. Production problems can happen and get buy but most companies don't like to admit to it, which is why they don't like dealing with me, so check with them on that fact also if nothing else works out. Ultimately no matter how careful a company is, something can go wrong.

QuestionThe waste H2O hose on new Samsung washer 2023 is too short to reach the drainpipe. A new longer hose retrofitted prevents a potentially leaking extension hose . We have Total Tech and have purchased the 8ft hose to be retrofitted--Does install do this?

- Answer We had pedestals from our previous washer and the installers told us they could not install them on the pedestals if it isn't on the work order. The said to call customer service and the would be able to set up another appointment for that. seems completely ridiculous.
