• Yes, I'm using one for my Xbox 1 X.It works fine. But I'm using the 4Tb model, which, for the Xbox One X, would be a wise decision. I've already filled the internal drive and about 300Gig of the external drive already and I've only had the Xbox One X since it was released. Go for a 4Tb for your Xbox!

• Yes, i bought this specifically for that. Very easy to setup, xbox will guide you through steps. I play battlefield 1 on multiplayer, it made my load times better by several Minutes.....yes i said minutes......per match. I am always top 3 loading into game now.
