Well, it truly depends on your TV’s USB inputs and video playback capabilities. If your TV supports external drives and has a video player, maybe. Test your TV with a USB flash drive. If it reads the contents (e.g. Video files) you’re set. Another option is either via PLEX or iTunes. In this case, the hard drive will be connected to your PC and accessed wirelessly via your network. The videos will be added to iTunes library or PLEX server for media share playback.

You might be able to attach it to your home router if the router can share USB devices. You'd need to use a app on the TV to access the disk share - something like VLC if that's available for your TV.
