Not sure I only had 1 little dot it helped my signal. Besides u can't go wrong u buy it and get to try it if it doesn't work u can return it for a full refund.

As a reminder, the effectiveness of any booster depends on the strength of the outside cell signal. If you only have 1 bar outside your home, the coverage area expected might only cover one room. If you are able to receive 2-3 bars outside your home, or on your roof where the outside antenna is placed, then the coverage area will be larger.
