Q: QuestionDoes the Whirlpool dehumidifier have a "comfort option" which allows the dehumidifier to keep the humidity between a preset high and low humidity level?

• A:Answer Yes. I recently learned this. I had setting it on the continuous setting. There are 2 other settings. I use the middle setting which sets the humidity at about 45. The machine could turn off when it reaches that setting. I don't know that mine has cut off. I put it on and don't pay a lot of attention unless the bucket is full. Then it cuts off automatically.

Q: QuestionThe unit is set for 55% however it cannot achieve this level therefore does not shut off and runs continuously. My previous unit which was rated for 1,500 sf would achieve this level and shut off.
