“this does not have an electrical cord? on comparison chart it says no power cord, how would I be able to plug it in then? if there is a difference between regular cord and plwer cord can you please explain it to me......... whirlpool cabrio electric dryer”

New appliances don't come with power cords anymore. You have to purchase them separately. It still requires a cord, so if you don't already have one, you'll have to purchase one.

Use the cord from the old dryer, or take a picture of your outlet and show the picture to the Best Buy associate and they will sell you the cord you need.
