Questionthis does not have an electrical cord? on comparison chart it says no power cord, how would I be able to plug it in then? if there is a difference between regular cord and plwer cord can you please explain it to me......... whirlpool cabrio electric dryer

- Answer New appliances don't come with power cords anymore. You have to purchase them separately. It still requires a cord, so if you don't already have one, you'll have to purchase one.

- Answer Yes you do not have to use the steam function. It is a separate button to push. I don't use the steam function all the time . so far I love the dryer and the washer

- Answer The 7.0 Cu. Ft is the size of the drum or how much you can dry at once. I dry 2 queen size sheets, a queen size mattress cover and 2 pillow cases with plenty of room left over. I'm sure when I wash my queen size comforter I will be able to dry it with no problem. I believe the 23 cycles are referring to different setting combinations for fabric type, drying temperature and how dry you want the items to be (damp, slightly damp, dry).

- Answer DeeR, you do not have to have a steam Dryer and Washer as they function and are installed separately.

QuestionI am looking for a separate washer and dryer but stackable on top of each other but need a front load dryer that has the knobs or controls at the bottom. Does this one have a option for that if not which unit comes with that option.

QuestionMy door entry is 28". Not one 11/12" more will fit. Can the back be taken off, making dryer less in depth until enters room? I have taken my 5600 model totally apart so am experienced but cannot see the side or back view of this model to be able to tell.

- Answer This is Tina. The dryer fit into the 28" doorway with only a slight diagonal twist right where the vent tube sticks out. And the back does come off if needed because none of it is behind anything else that needs to come off first.

QuestionWhat is the amp requirements, Im not getting any heat out of this dryer and my breaker says it's 250 and I see the requirement is 240 for this dryer what could Be wrong ?

- Answer Hi A, this unit draws 30 amps. If you are getting some heat, but not a lot, you may want to look at your venting and make sure there are no kinks or clogs. If the unit does not have proper air flow it will not heat. We hope this helps!

- Answer I am guessing you are referring to the water line that comes to the dryer for the steam option. If so, Whirlpool supplies you with a "Y" connector to run the cold water line to the washer and the dryer. They do give you additional hoses to complete this as well.

QuestionI have a whirlpool duet steam dryer. The drum will not turn. I have replaced the belt switch, thermal fuse, idler pulley, and even the motor. Belt is fine. The controls work fine, even the steam works. What else can I do?
