This headset looks great even though it looks so large. It where's well overhead and provides great sound quality. I purchased for my Xbox One S and and happy with the decision. I would recommend this headset to those looking for quality and style!

I really loved the look of the Logitech G933 and was hopeful these would be the ones I would keep but that wasn't the case. The sound itself is great, nice clear crisp sound as well as enough bass for those like me who love it. The surround sound though, I wasnt entirely happy with it. I could pin point the location of an enemy while playing shooter games but it wasnt perfect. Example, while playing PUBG or Battlefield 1, when a vehicle would drive by me and/or enemies would run/walk past me, there wasn't a smooth transition of directional sound that you'd expect. I could hear them on one side then a pause before transitioning to other earcup.
The earcups where the perfect size but the material quickly got hot and I'd start to sweat. Also, Im not a big fan of really tight fitting headphones but I do expect them to stay put, these didnt, they seemed a little too loose for me.

Great sound quality, comfort is there.
That's about it. It disconnects about every 5 minutes with a blinking green light, where you have to turn it off and on again. No known remedies online. No response from logitech over 2 years.
I would have spent that half that money buying an Audio-Technica headset and had it last 5 times as long.
Wish i could have gotten some kind of credit -_-....

I enjoy my G930 tremendously that I thought I would purchase the G933 for a friend. He graduated from Loghitech's H series. It was a hard choice to move to a different Manufacturer, but ultimately, because of reviews, satisfaction from Logitech and price I settled on the newest and greatest.

The headphones sound very good. I've found myself looking behind me while wearing them thinking that the sounds were actually in the room. They sound nice for music too. The bass is better than my previous headset.
Pros:
Light weight
Comfortable fabric ear pads
Battery life is solid
Range
Cons:
Expensive.
I considered returning them after getting some buyers remorse. I had them boxed up and ready to go back. I started using my old headset and just couldn't deal with the loss in sound quality and comfort.

TL;DR version: Outstanding headset, great features, good battery life. Surround sound actually sounds like surround sound, not a cheap knock off. Audio clarity/quality is fantastic. However, I need to have my headset replaced due to the "stuck in sleep mode" issue because the battery won't charge anymore due to the software thinking the headset is powered off or in sleep mode. If you get this headset, make sure to get the 2 year GS replacement plan, just in case. However, I was an early adopter so the firmware in my headset could be all jacked up due to the changes. I'll be exchanging my headset at my local BB and will update my long version after I've had the new one for a few months.
-----
The long version:
-----
The surround sound, clarity, and features on this headset are awesome.... when it works. I'm getting the dreaded sleep issue. I got the headset when it first game out (I should've known better than to be a first adopter). I went from a set a Turtle Beach PX3s to this headset. For the positive things, there's a WORLD of difference in clarity and sound. The lowest are deep and mellow, the mids are full, and the highs are crisp and clear. The surround sound feature is fantastic. It's immersive and really feels like the sound is "in your head". The on board eq is very customizable and you can even program an eq for each game on your PC using the logitech software. It's easy to mute/unmute your mic simply by retracting the boom and flipping it up/storing it in the headset. I find this much easier than trying to hunt for the mute button by feel on the back of the left ear cup. Speaking of the ear cups, they are comfortable over long gaming sessions. Long Raids in WoW/LoTRo, hours of Rocket League, other steam games, this headset doesn't really get uncomfortable for me until the batteries start dying from being at a full charge. The ear cups rotate and fold flat so you can hang the headset around your neck instead of having to worry about the headset falling off your head while you are afk.
I read reviews before purchasing this headset and I tend to get 6-10 hours out of the headset with the lights set to cyan pulse. The color rotating setting makes the battery die faster and of course, if the effects lights are off you get an extra hour or two.
Now, to address my issues. I've had to reset the headset due to the sleep setting over ten times now. I got the 2 year geek squad replacement plan, so I'm going to go get a replacement tonight. I've reflashed the firmware on the headset several times using the Logitech approved method and using command line firmware upgrades. At first, the firmware flash fixed it and the new firmware has a feature to disable the sleep setting. However, my headset loses connectivity to the USB dongle if I go out of the house near the pool to take the dogs to the restroom (about 150 ft through several walls). The range is fairly good on the headset, as I generally don't lose it until I'm on the far side of the house or outside. So the range is fantastic. However, my best guess is it lost it's settings when I went out of range. Went I went back inside, it had the dreaded "stuck in sleep mode" issue again. Eventually, I gave up trying to factory reset it and just dealt with the headset only being a headset and a mic, no special features, no surround sound. Now, the eternal sleep mode on the software is keeping my headset from charging, so I have to have it constantly plugged in, which defeats the point of it being wireless.
***NOTE: I'm going to my local BB to have my headset replaced tonight and hopefully I'll have better luck with my next headset.
I had one of the original headsets before Logitech updated their firmware to add the feature to disable sleep mode and the firmware upgrade never really seemed to take effect well since my headset had already encountered the sleep issue. Also, yes, before anyone flames me, I did the factory reset with the battery removed to eliminate any settings staying in the memory on the headset.
I REALLY like the headset, the features really are fantastic for the price and with the price drop to $130ish recently, it's definitely a good buy. I bought it at the original $200 price and felt a little cheated when the USB dongle wouldn't work with my PS4. Well, it "worked", but the mic wouldn't work. For the mic to work you have to hardwire to the controller. Also, no, I don't primarily use this on my PS4, I use it on my PC, but I just wanted to see if it would work.
Anyways, I cannot truly say if I "recommend" this headset yet until I see if I just got a headset that got screwed up from the sleep mode/firmware issues. Hopefully the replacement will perform better. I'll update my review after I've had my new headset for a few months.

The g933 Spectrum Artemis headset is a great headset has very few and only minor shortcomings. The set is very comfortable to wear, the 7.1 surround sound implementation is excellent, it's comfortable, charges last a long time and it's overall the best in its class that I have had.
The product has only two shortcomings that I found. First is the microphone which is not as unidirectional as I would like. Background sounds are easily picked up and quite easily distinguished by those listening. Second, while charging the unit takes up two USB slots instead of one. If it's to be used simultaneously while charging you'll need that extra slot to be available. Other cordless headsets use a single USB cable to simultaneously charge and transmit/receive data. However, the G933 requires that the wireless dongle remain in place and active if the unit is to remain functional during charging. This is not a good thing, especially for those that have a quantity of USB items that need to be plugged in simultaneously.
All in all the G933 is great product. Had either one of the other shortcomings I mention not existed, I would have given it 5 stars. However, four stars is still no slouch. So if you cleave the USB slot to spare, buy this confidently you won't be sorry.

Let me start by saying that for most this product would have warranted a 5 star rating. I chose to give it only 4 for two reasons; I was forced to return the first set due to a failure of the receiver within 48 hours of purchase. Not good. Second is the lack of microphone sensitivity adjustability. Although the quality of your voice is very good, the mic is not unidirectional and is very sensitive so it picks up every little noise in your environment clearly including a TV at normal volume two rooms (30 ft.) away. In a noisy environment these would be almost useless. If Logitech wants serious consideration for this product in the competitive gaming world, they'll need to change the microphones design to a more unidirectional dynamic vocal pickup pattern. At this price point, I would expect better.
As for the rest, the unit sounds amazingly clear and is highly adjustable through the Logitech Gaming Software. The batteries last me a solid eight hours of continuous use (LEDs off) and they fit my head and ears very comfortably, a rarity for me.
All in all, I highly recommend these for anyone seeking a great value on a very good product from a company whose customer service is second to none.

Bought these as an impulse buy when I saw them for 108. Saw minimal reviews praising them so I couldn't say no.
Pros:
+amazing sound.
+battery life
+comfort around the ears
+range on Bluetooth is pretty good
Cons:
-volume for movies is really low compared to games or anything viewed from a browser.
-unless you wear a cap or some other head garment, you'll constantly be adjusting these. They slide off your head relatively easy.
-conflicts with other wireless Bluetooth devices such as PS4 controller adapter for PC.
I'm very happy with the purchase, but he price point is what made this a great deal for me. I'd recommend if you can get them at 120 or lower.

These have been great, under use since the beginning of May, and the comfort is nailed. No pressure on the ears, I have had to modify my sound settings from my previous set of headphones, obviously, but I believe the base is better than the SteelSeries I was previous using. These ear cups fit over the ear entirely, no pressure, extreme comfort. I believe the construction of the microphone should make it last much longer than my previous headphones, as the extender on that one actually broke. This one seems to be more solid and will not suffer the same work-hardening from daily use. Battery life seems very good so far, as I have only needed to recharge overnight, and I am using the headphones for several hours at a stretch. The roaming distance is similar to previous other headphone experience (we have a very noisy house electronically), but still acceptable. In this case YMMV. The cost was much better than my previous SS. Very happy to find these at my local BestBuy.

Built a new gaming PC and wanted to headphones to go with it. Bought Astro A50 for 299.99 and the Logitech G933 for 99.99 because of a Best Buy screw up. After listening to both I actually thought the G933's sounded better! The Logi's had better bass in my opinion too. Another thing I liked about the G933 (and Astros) is thatI can use it on my PS4 too. I've been using Turtle Beach CoD Ghosts headphones that still need the wire from the headphones to the control...not "true" wireless in my book. The G933's only need the USB wireless adapter plugged into the PS4 and NO cable to the controller. Only it doesn't do 7.1 Surround on the PS4 but its still surround so you can still hear where things are coming from and its good enough for me when playing Fortnite or PUBG. Some may call me crazy for thinking these sound better than A50's and half the cost but that's my opinion.

I purchased these to replace my old wired Logitech Gaming headset. I was fed up with cords and found these beauties online. The sound is amazing and I couldn't ask for more. Battery life is good and distance is decent. I can go about 30' before before I loose connection. They are also very comfortable. I wear glasses and they don't pinch them against my face.

I had logitecs for my PS3. Loved them. Sound was good, and I mean just good. What I loved was the distance. I could get up and walk anywhere even take the dog out quick and my friends could tell me the next game of COD was about to start. Poor Max had to go and get in quick. Sadly after a few years the battery would not hold a charge and I could only use them with the wire. The model was discontinued. Turtle Beach then for the rest of my PS3 years and year one of PS4. Great sound but no distance, no taking the dog out, no getting a beverage from the fridge. If I chanced it I had a 50/50 chance of getting back in time. Then I saw these. I had to try them. Yes! I have distance again and a little better sound than the old ones. Actually the distance is about 8 feet better. Thanks Logitech. A dad who has other responsibilities along with the ones to his clan members appreciates the ability to multitask at distance and not let anyone down.
Positives: Distance, comfort, decent sound, easiest set up, turtle Beach should take it as an example for set up!
Negatives: Price, USB to connect

I read a ton of reviews about this headset. I love this headset. I'm not some crazy audophile or some extreme gamer.
They're incredibly comfortable. I love how the ear pieces rest around my ears instead of on top. I can wear these for hours. My wife thinks they're a little heavy for her. I love being able to go wireless on my laptop (I have to get up a ton to check on my kids and getting tangled up in wires is a pain) and go wired on my phone. I don't use the mic much myself since my internet is too bad to support online gaming, but my wife LOVES the sound quality for her SingIt game on her phone. The storage spot in the ear piece for the wireless dongle is ingenious. They feel very sturdy and I really like the swivel on the ear pieces. It allows them to fit my head better and they sit out of the way much better when I have them resting on my neck.
All-in-all the only thing that could have made me love these more is if I wouldn't have had to shell out $200 on them.

I waited for the G933 to hit the shelves at my local Bestbuy and I snatched one up immediately. I couldn't wait to try them on to see if the would fit my head so I opened them up in the car while I was in the parking lot to see. They we're a little tight at first but I knew with time they would be just right. It's been a couple of months now and this headset is amazing, I came from the G35, which I had for 4 years, hopping it would at least exceed those and they in fact did. Setup was a little confusing only because the provided USB cable, unbeknownst to me at the time that the USB cable is just for power and not signal. The wireless adapter works on the PS4 right out of the box, voice and sound, I don't have a Xbox One to test with, I mainly do PC. Logitech says they developed a new driver for these speakers that allow multiple audio sources without distortion and I haven't heard one crackle yet. The digital surround sound works as well as ever, though, it doesn't sound like the DSS from the older Logitech headsets, it sounds more full. On a full charge I can get about 8-9 hours on the battery, which is constant use, it does however turn off after 5 mins of silence to conserve battery, you just have to adjust the volume on the headset to wake it up. Over all, this headset may be a bit on the pricey side but I consider this to be a solid purchase choice, given it's price bracket and how it exceeds other models that are priced far above it.

Great Headset for Gamers

Logitech has great quality headsets. This is my first real Logitech gaming headset and I'm impressed. My last headset was a SADES bought off of amazon with 7.1, due to wear and tear i wanted a new headset.
1.. Quality- Logitech always in my opinion had really great quality and this is no exception, From sound to mic its all really nice, the :Led's are also nice and i can sync the color effects to my logitech mouse.
2. Mic/Audio. What blew me away was the level of base this headset can produce on their virtual 7.1 drivers. There are different Audio profiles to chose from and can even customize equalizers or choose from a set list when you use Logitech Gaming Software. My last headset was 7.1, but Logitech really delivered. Now the mic, i really love the hide away mic so its not something thats sticking out all the time and the auto mute feature when u raise the mic is quite nice, Sound and noise cancellation are both great, Not overly sensitive but you can adjust to your liking in the software.
3, Comfortably- I have a larger head and was kind of skeptical at first when i bought the headset. The store i went to had it on display but the headset was broken so i couldn't properly try it on. But i bought it on a whim, and was really surprised, It fit perfectly! has really nice sliding adjustments and can tailor it to your head.. The ear cups have a tilting feature that helps relieve pressure on certain points so it has a secure fit. Only gripe is atleast with my head it has a tendency to slide but i think thats due to the top head cushion, but its nothing thats make or break, just a slicker material.
Overall: I say its a fantastic product, Now the only reason i docked a star is because ive recently encountered a minor annoyance, Every time i plug wireless headset in with the charging cable im prompt with a Firmware update to latest frimware. I dont know how to stop it but, by closing out of it (Hitting the red X) until its gone and restarting Logitech gaming software it doesnt come back until i unplug the headset. Again its a minor annoyance im experiencing, and this was after a fresh install of windows. Other then that its great.

This headset had everything going for it.
Wireless, 3 audio source input, 7.1 surround sound and a brand to back it up, Logitech. But unfortunately the software and its auto sleep "feature," pull it down to an average headset.
The software for the headset is currently filled with many bugs and inconsistencies resulting in an unpleasant experience. Even though they have patched it several times it still fails to deliver a premium service for what you are paying. The auto sleep "feature" made me decide on returning it. Even with audio playing and using the mic the device would sleep and not turn on with out power cycling it.
The worse part is that you cant opt out of either of those two things. There is no option to disable auto sleep.
And you cant use 7.1 surround or Dolby surround with out the software. You also need the software to setup all the included features of the device.
Other than those two oversights by Logitech this headset had it. Long battery time 8~12hrs , comfortable for extended use, more distance than advertised for wireless use, crisp voice chat and 7.1 surround.
If Logitech decides to fix the issues stated I will happily buy it in a heart beat but until then save yourself the hassle and steer clear.
