I only gave 4 stars as the durability is not as great with heavy usage. The sound quality is great and the mic has been flawless. seems to hold charge for long time and good range. Also comfortable over the ear and adjustments where really good for my big head :/

    Great Headset, Even Better Wireless

This headset is amazing if you're looking for a decent, USB-powered, wireless headset. I owned the wired version of this headset, but I wanted to able to use it more wirelessly, obviously. The best part of this headset is that aside from charging, you can use it completely wireless. If you have the dongle plugged into a powered device and wish to also listen to something that requires the 3.5mm jack? Just plug the cable into the dongle. BUT you'll probably be saying "Wait! That's what everyone is complaining about! I don't want to have to use the dongle!" Well guess what, you don't need to. If you want to listen to something without using the dongle, and don't mind using this as a wired headset, you can. Both the USB and 3.5mm can connect right to the headset for audio connection. While I will say it's a valid argument that this defeats the purpose of it being wireless, it is not a valid argument that the only way to listen to audio is strictly through the dongle. Otherwise, without the LEDs on (you don't need them on unless you're trying to get people to oggle at the back of your head), and Surround Sound off (which I prefer, plain stereo sounds better IMO) you can get 12+ hours of charge life. Using it for audio and chatting draws around 300~mA, so you have plenty of time to use it and can easily charge it overnight. Looking to travel? You can store the dongle easy enough in the headset, and for those who complain you'd need a place for the cable, you can use a standard micro USB cable that you charge your phone with to charge this headset, so no worries there.

I bought these headphones because I needed new ones to replace my old/tired/broken pair at the office and the firm was moving to Skype for Business. No more desk phone and they gave us awful headphones to use so this was a double-duty purchase. I first tried the Logitech Pro because the Youtube reviews of that headset's microphone sounded the best. Unfortunately, Skype and the Logitech Pro did not play well together so they were returned, plus they were rather hot to wear for a long time. I had also considered the Logitech G933 so I gave them a try. Because they use a USB connection to the computer, they worked much better with Skype for Business than the wired Logitech Pro which uses a 3.5mm jack to connect to the computer. Skype will reset the microphone gain to maximum when you start it up, regardless of settings that should prevent it from doing so, it’s annoying but the headphones work fine even with that hiccup. I have simply learned to talk rather quietly into the mic, which of course is beneficial for the neighbors. I love the boom microphone that swings up into the headset for storage and mutes the mic in one motion. To completely tuck away the microphone, you must push the flexible part of the mic into the main boom. I usually leave it extended but fold it up anyways as it is much easier to feel, find, and pull down the mic when I get a call. The LED lights are cool, and I keep the Logitech software handy, so I can turn the headphone lights to ‘red’ when I am on a call. It would be super sweet if you could have the G Hub software would do that automatically but not really what the headphones are designed for. While I don’t get to appreciate the lights, but they are fun. While having the lights is cool, they will dramatically reduce the time you can go wireless. With both the side-bands and the ‘G’ logo illuminated, you get about 5 hours of battery time. You’ll get around 6 hours with logo off and the bands on. You’ll get about 8 hours with the bands off and the logo on and you get around 13 hours with no lights on. Huge difference! Because the included power charging cable (USB to USB C cable) is real long (over 6ft), most of the time I am “plugged in” to stay charge but I can go wireless with a simple tug. These really sound sweet both for music, streaming movies, Skype and games. Not Bose/Sony/Skullcandy "sweet" but very nice nonetheless. I tried them with the Xbox One before bringing them into the office and they worked well. Overall sound is excellent at lower volumes which I think is important because I don’t like to blast headphones...too close to my ears and ear damage. The base is deep and clear at lower volume levels but gets a bit muddy if you crank it up. The overall sound is clear but not as warm sounding Bose headphones, but who’s are. The vocals are also clear but not as crisp/precise as my Bose QuietComfort headphones, my Sony WH1000XM2 headphones, or my Klipsch speakers but I don’t think those are fair comparisons. They really do sound great. The 7.1 features are not needed for me in the office, but they were cool when playing a game. I suspect if I used the headphones as a gaming headset (like it is intended for), I would get better at picking up the subtilties of where the sound is coming from. I use the volume wheel all the time, but I haven’t fooled around with learning/programing the other buttons. The mute is a bit hard to find without accidently rolling the volume wheel, but muting is so easy by tilting up the boom this seems like a wasted button. I suspect if I needed to learn the feel of where the buttons are better, I could. For my application, the buttons were an extra feature that The build feels solid and I like the ‘home’ for the USB wireless transmitter (even though these don’t travel). The removable side panels are held on by magnets and scream of customization. I think they are heavy, and they are physically large. I am sure the heavy part is associated with the solid build and the larger drivers. The compression on the side of my head is very noticeable but not anywhere near oppressive. I have a narrow elliptical head, so the noticeable side compression isn’t a function of a large/wide head shape. They are not as warm on my head as the Logitech Pro but they are warm. They feel similar when you touch insulation with your arm...not the itchy part, the ‘reflected’ body heat part. The ears and surrounding area feel like they have a winter coat on, it’s just noticeable. The warmth, the weight, and the side pressure aren’t deal breakers for me because I don’t usually wear the headphones all day, but they are all drawbacks. All these points are in comparison to my Sony and Bose headphones which are technically in a different category of use. Without music/sound coming through the headphones, they are only ‘OK’ at muffling ambient office noise as sometimes I will put my headphones on to take the edge off. A significant reduction of ambient talking/noise is not really to be expected but it is an observation. Many of the Youtube reviews talk about these headphones sliding off you hear if you look up and recommend trying them on at the store before you buy them, and I did. I didn’t experience any looseness or movement in the store and I have zero slippage/movement issues during regular real-world use. They stay put very well for me. I like the headphones but if I didn’t need the ability to use them for phone calls, I would have gotten different headphones for just listening to music at work.

This is my first wireless headset and it works fantastically. I bought a stand for it because I didn't want to potentially damage it laying it down all the time. It comes with wires so you can hook it up to your computer or console if needed. The headset itself feels sturdy and fits comfortably on my head. There are three programmable buttons on the back of the headset to allow quick access to commands. My only hesitation is that the mic is a flip mic and I worry that the moving part in it will come loose like my previous headset but only time will tell. The mic turns on and off when you flip it down and up.

I had major concerns initially about buying this headset. I could not find it on display anywhere. A real issue to me. I was worried about quality, comfort, etc. It went on sale so I stepped up my research. I read many reviews and must have watched at least 6 youtube video reviews. I have used this for many hours. So far it has held up beautifully. Some people felt the magnetic side plates would keep falling off. This has not happened to me once. Other reviews felt the unit had a weak point at the top center. I do not see this either. Other review said the headset falls off your head to easily. I really don't see how. Never happened to me. Another said you need to turn the lights off it will wear the battery too quick. Yes it's true the lights on will kill the battery faster but I have gone 9 hours straight and still had 18 minutes left according to the software before the battery would go dead. Plus if you plug the unit into the charger (I use a 10' usb 3.0 extension cable) you can still use it and it even charges itself very well while being used. Full recharge time is supposedly 3.5 hours, I think faster. Comfort is AWESOME! I also read the surround sound had a cheap fake quality. So not true. Listen to the surround sound demo that comes with the headset. AWESOME! Microphone is another high quality feature.Works very well. I have not used the macro buttons because it's hard for me to hit the correct one but perhaps others can make better use of that feature.

It took me a little bit to figure it out, but my first recommendation for anyone getting the headset is to install the Management software and Turn off the 'Sleep in X minutes if inactive'. It was a frustrating little niggle when I first started using it and they would go to sleep even though I was mid conversation. As far as range and quality go, While I only live in a 1 bed room apartment, I can go anywhere within that apartment with them on and hear and be heard crystal clear throughout. They're overall a little bulkier than I would like, if I had to give a complaint.

    Best Headset I've Ever Experienced

This headset is...how do I put it...AMAZING! With surround sound (with very high quality sound), wireless capabilities, fold-able mic, comfortable ear muffs (I don't know if that's what its actually called), noise cancelling abilities, programmable buttons, and the ability to receive audio from THREE different source simultaneously, I can't think of much more to ask for. It is also comes with the Logitech Gaming Software which allows for complete customization of this headset, from macro buttons, to lighting options, to power options, and even a rather advanced equalizer for the built-in surround sound. The thing that sold me the most about this headset is it's ability to be used with THREE sources at the same time. I always use my PC to communicate while gaming on my PS4 and this finally gave me a way to have all my communication and gaming sounds come from my headset...all without having a jumble of wires wrapped around me trying to connect all these devices together. Battery life is very good on this device (in my opinion). It has about a max 7 hour battery life WHEN USED WIRELESSLY. It also has programmable power options to increase the battery life. Charging time is relatively quick (I don't have any numbers but I think about 1 hour for a full charge). The sound quality and multitude of capabilities of this headset far exceeded anything I thought possible, especially from a wireless headset. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This headset was pretty good. It said it was supposed to has 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound, but with Windows 10 the pre-installed Skype for Business doesn't allow the Logitech Gaming Software to work with the headset. Which means that one can't change any of the lighting, surround sound, and equalizer. If Logitech were to update its software then it would be a fantastic product.

This headset, does what I need it to do, typically when I wear a headset my ears hurt after wearing for a long period of time, as I wear glasses, this headset was very comfortable over my ears and stopped that problem. Overall I'm pleased with the headset and the dual capability of having either wired or wireless.

Had the Razer kraken headphones. They hurt my ears after 30 mins from the pressure. These do over the ears and have no discomfort. Fiance had them for 3 months and decided to buy me a pair as I was always uncomfortable. Have noticed no delay when using them wirelessly. The sound is great. Has different settings depending if gaming or watching movies. Can change the logo color which is pretty cool. Easy to switch the Mic on and off which is nice when I use voice activation for team sleak.

These headphones are exactly what I was looking for to replace a Plantronics 780 set. The ability to pick between Dolby and DTS is very nice - and there is added tailoring available to fine-tune the experience for gaming, listening to music, or watching a movie. Long charge life AND a long USB charging cord the combination of which make for very flexible use. The reception of the wireless headset covers anywhere I go in my small house, and there is no hint of interference.

I was looking for a new gaming headset and I saw these, when listening to the demo model at best buy it sounded great. I also like that the buttons are programmable through the Logitech software as well as the lighting effects. I have used them all day without having to recharge, and the retractable boom mic works very well so far, everyone I interact with says they can hear me well. The biggest selling point for these was the ability for them to be used with just about everything, PS4,XBox 1, switch and PC, most of the head sets I looked at for pc would only be compatible with PS4 and pc or Xbox and PC but not PS4 and Xbox. So far I am extremely happy with them. They are a little bulky and if you are in a hot environment they may tend to become uncomfortable if you start sweating. but other than that I love them. They also have a compartment to store the USB wireless fob in the headphone itself if you are using it wired.

It looks nice while also being one of the more comfortable headsets I have worn when using my computer, the weight takes time to get used to and may find soreness in your neck at first but after wearing on average for 3-5 hours a day I can say it is one of the best products Logitech has released.

So far so good. Even though I read some bad reviews on this head set I decided to give it a try. I’ve always been a Logitech fan so figured why not!! They fit great are comfortable for 4-5 hours before my ears start to become annoyed but after a 30 minute break I’m right back at it. I like that you can charge them while playing at the same time so after the 4-5 hours of playing and they are running down I’m able to keep going.

The sound quality is good, the. Build quality is very sturdy, comfortable. There are occasionally some issues with the mic not working without opening the software that goes with the headset and injuring it from there. Dispute having a dedicated mic me button. Recently had issues with the drivers even working with it when plugged into alternate ports. A small thing to mention is that the headset is a bit hefty. If you don't fit with good posture the headset will start to wear on your neck after a few hours. Overall I do recommend this headset.
