Very powerful machine that runs every game in 4k max settings. The 4080 super graphics card is capable of running my flight simulator with no issues.

Less than 30 days of gaming and the i9 processor has already failed. Games are consistently crashing when im playing. Everything about this Alienware desktop is great. Got a great deal, my opinion it looks great. Simple design quiet when gaming. But the intel processor was the weakness. It’s a common failure with the i9 is what research leads me to belive. Alienware still has a place in my heart but i have to 1 star this and return the item. Buyer beware of Intel i9 14900 stay away!

Awesome computer... for 4 months. Currently machine will not boot past a CPU fan detect failure fault without shutting down - now waiting on a part and a repair from Dell. Seems to be related to the cooling pump. Search Aurora R16, CPU fan detect failure, seems to be a common issue.

Best PC I had hands down. And I got it on sale and incredible deal. The CPU and GPU are very powerful. I have really enjoyed the gaming capabilities and productivity of it. 4080 Super is a pretty dang capable GPU and the I9 is noticably fast. Plenty of storage space and room for a couple upgrades in a few years.

What can I say? I am an Alienware fan! I think this computer is excellent! It’s literally my fourth desktop from Alienware/Dell and I’ve never been disappointed. One unit (not this product) crashed and the Dell technical team was very knowledgeable and helpful. The computer in question had a bad connection, and Alienware literally came to my house at the height of the pandemic two days after the issue was brought to their attentio to fix it. Excellent product and support! What’s with all the negative reviews? Hater’s going to hate I suppose.

Great piece of hardware after having to deal with that Intel CPU bug with a BIOS update. It handles everything I've thrown at it without any issue. Plenty of USB ports for peripherals. I like the compact design.. it doesn't leave much room inside to upgrade, but honestly there isn't much to upgrade on this machine.

So far so good I guess works great for game and video editing just one day when I turned it on it made a weird sound like water was boiling or something electrical burning didn’t smell anything also want to note when in sleep mode it randomly clicks on the PSU and GPU light comes on but nothing else fans remain of never seen this before this required for high end pcs now? Never heard of it before or is this a total bug with hardware or software?

Alienware - Aurora R16

This Alienware Aurora R16 is an absolute powerhouse! From the moment I booted it up, I could feel the performance difference. The Intel Core i9-14900KF paired with the RTX 4080 SUPER makes this machine a beast for both gaming and content creation. Everything runs buttery smooth – from AAA titles on ultra settings to heavy multitasking and video rendering.
The 32GB of memory ensures no slowdowns, even with multiple applications open, and the 2TB SSD is super fast and spacious enough for my entire game library and creative projects. I also love the sleek, modern look of the R16 – it’s both stylish and surprisingly quiet for such a high-performance rig.
If you're a serious gamer, streamer, or content creator looking for future-proof performance, this desktop is 100% worth it. Alienware really nailed it with this one.

Was planning on building a PC, saw this open box w/ a 4080 Super in it for only $1400. Has a bunch of proprietary parts, GPU is held in w/ brackets that only fit that video card. Shrink wrap was still on Video card itself. CPU runs hot, I took it apart and has hardly any thermal paste on it.

This Alienware Aurora R16 is a powerhouse! The 14th Gen Intel Core i9 and RTX 4080 SUPER handle everything I throw at it, from intense gaming to multitasking, without breaking a sweat. The 2TB SSD provides lightning-fast load times, and the design is sleek and modern. It stays cool and quiet, even during long gaming sessions. Yes, it’s pricey, but the performance and build quality make it worth every penny. If you’re a serious gamer or creator, this is the desktop to get! Highly recommend.

Ordered a "out of box, excellent condition". The PC arrived in a plain cardboard box, wrapped in a single sheet of bubble wrap, loose. No packaging, no keyboard, no mode, no power cord. Complained, returned, told I would get a replacement. No then nothing happened. Next, I was told after I asked, that there would not be a replacement but a refund 7 to 10 business days. I bought an identical PC at a local shop for less than at Best Buy.

I bought the Aurora R16 in December 2024 and used it practically flawlessly every day for a few months. After about 3 months my games started to crash with no explanation, and now almost 6 months later I will be 10 minutes into playing a game and the game will either crash or the computer will BSOD with a multitude of different errors. Everything is up to date and when I try to scan for faulty or corrupt files, the system BSOD.
