After reviewing several models of corsair keyboards I chose the Strafe rgb mk 2. Due to the pink silent cherry microswitches. I tested several models in store with the silver speed switch, blue clicky and brown tactile microswitches. The silent one is the most comfortable for me and they are pretty quiet. The RGB lighting is programmable through the corsair's icue software which you need to download. The cool thing about icue is if you have other corsair products you can also program through icue like a mouse/headphones. Comes with a palm rest and fps/moba keycap sets which are a nice addition.

I wanted a keyboard that wasn't so clicky' clacky' and this was it! This is the keyboard I was looking for. The RGB is really nice, I love the volume wheel (I use it WAY more then I thought) and it even has an extra USB in the back of the board. Just remember that it takes two USBs in the back of your PC for power so keep that in mind. The extra keycaps are amazing, they are rubber and have a small slant so you're fingers sit perfectly on ASWD. The only the thing I would change is taking off the number pad and making it a smaller form factor. Just personal preference

Ok I wanted another keyboard . I shopped around and this is what I got. Very satisfied with my purchase . Might be last years model but it’s better than some of the higher priced new ones. Quiet ,nice key stroke, fits me to a T. Can do a lot of programming for it light wise. I found this to be my best value considering I wasn’t going to pay over 150 for a keyboard. Did my research and this was a Best Buy.

Beautiful keyboard. I got this keyboard with a Razer Mamba Elite mouse and the two look like they were made to go together. Especially at night, the glowing colors are so lovely to watch. The keys are a bit higher than the standard keyboard I was using before, which has taken some getting used to. Also, this keyboard comes with an extra set of WASD and QWER keys that are slightly slightly textured and slanted. I guess they're to help gamers get a better grip. I did try replacing the QWER keys as I am a League player, but couldn't get used to the weirdness of the keys being at odd angles and ended up putting the standard keys back. Luckily the keyboard comes with a little device for popping keys out of place. Overall a great keyboard but I would recommend testing the responsiveness of the keys before purchasing if possible. The keys do have a bit of resistance and height that some people may find hard to adjust to. It is definitely not a "soft" keyboard.

I've owned Corsair keyboards with different mechanical keys for some time but this model by far is the best. Very responsive yet quieter than the typical red mechanical keys. I was so happy with this purchase that I went back to order another but the price had already changed. Best Buy offered the lowest price I’ve seen for this keyboard and shipping was super fast. Thank you.

Awesome keyboard! Well made, quality keyboard with plenty of RGB, smooth key switches providing a very satisfying typing experience, and great for gaming. Comes with a few alternate textured key caps geared for gaming. For me, I swapped out the W, A, S, and D key caps to the textured ones, love it! I work from home and am on it all day for work and then sometimes gaming at night. Works just as well as the day I bought it. iCue software gives you great control over the RGB so you color it any way you desire. Also the iCue software is rock solid and I also use it with my Corsair wireless head phones. The volume control is great to have right there at your finger tips. The USB pass through is great and I mostly use mine for my wireless mouse. Not the cheapest keyboard, but worth every penny, as it is reliable, well built, provides an excellent typing experience, and RGB with well made software. I definitely recommend it.

I went from a Razor membrane keyboard to this mechanical and let me tell you, I'd never go back. Took me a little bit of getting used to at first but within a good ten minutes I was accustomed and it works great. The switches are definitely quiet and sound nice. Setup was easy, software is easy to use, lights work great, and I love the volume control on the top right corner. Totally worth the price.

This is my 2nd Corsair Strafe with the Cherry MX Reds Silent switches and if they ever stop making this particular keyboard then I do not know what I'd do. This being the second generation of the Strafe it has gotten alot more love from Corsair. The audio wheel is a great option and I'm glad they added it. Having the separate switches for the rgb lights on the top left are better placement and the Windows key to keep stray key presses from opening Windows while you game. Not to mention they still have the textured key caps and puller to use them on the most common keys for gaming. The Corsair logo and badge are a lot better looking too placed at the top middle. I can't say enough good things about the changes Corsair made to this keyboard, the lights are always awesome and not too bright or distracting. As well they are not too dim, just the perfect amount of light here. The ICue software lets you sync to other Corsair rgb products too. So yea, I have not had any negative experience and I really like this Strafe MK.2 even better than the first gen. It's all I ever want to use for gaming or regular computer typing. It's perfect to me.

I'm not a keyboard nut, but I'm willing to spend a little more to get a good keyboard and this is it. If you are looking for a keyboard that is solid, mechanical, well built, has decent software, and of course lots of colors then you have a lot of options. But if you want all that and somewhat quiet performance you can't go wrong here. It spoiled me so much I had to buy one for work also (just have to leave the RGB off there LOL).

After a month of heavy use I have fallen in love with this keyboard. It is highly customize-able with the lighting, and the extra keys they give are fantastic. After leaving my Merc Stealth, I thought PC gaming would never be the same, but I was wrong. Not only is it good for gaming, it is also excellent for writing papers (college student), something I could never do on my stealth.

RGB is amazing. The cherry mx silent keys are the perfect middle ground between the soft and loud clackity kind of keyboards. The corsair software that comes with the keyboard is fun to play around with how the RGB shows up. Good quality for price. Durable.

I have the Original RGB Strafe as well as this new version, and I LOVE the Cherry Silent keys! I also like the new button configuration as well as a Volume roller and Mute button. I liked this keyboard so much that I bought a second one for my Son's new PC build.

I've had no problems with it, I was initially going to go for a Roccat 121 Aimo, but I saw that this one was on sale for $20 less and was a better keyboard, so I decided to buy this one, and I don't regret it. What I wanted in a keyboard was mostly just quietness and RGB. Both of these have been met very well. First of all, the Cherry MX Red Silent switches are very quiet and feel good. With my headphones on, I can't hear the keys at all, and without them I can barely hear them I probably would have preferred tactile judging by how my brother's clicky switches feel, but I like mine enough to enjoy and look forward to typing on it. Also, Corsair's Icue software is great for RGB.

This computer is very heavy duty. I love pretty much everything about this keyboard. It still has that professional feel, yet is fun and colorful. It has many color settings on the keyboard as well as brightness levels. There are skip, pause/play, and forward buttons as well as a scroll bar for volume control. The keyboard is a bit large so I would recommend a large desk space and mouse pad when using. The only negative thing OI can come up with is that the silent keyboard aspect give it this faint hum whenever you smash a key while typing or gaming. If you are using headphones, I have no doubt that you would be bothered. Overall, I love this keyboard and I will be buying this in the future.

Picked this keyboard up on Black Friday and so far I've been extremely satisfied. Coming from an older K40, as the summary says, it has been a great upgrade. The keys have a nice mechanical feel and the switches have the audible click but it isn't overly noisy compared to other cherry switches. The keyboard is constructed very well and feels very sturdy, if you prefer a heavier keyboard this one will not disappoint. So far this keyboard has been well worth the money, I would feel the same even if I had purchased at full price.

The keyboard is fine nice feel but no noise. I didn't want the click, clack all day. Yes I use it for work in addition to gaming. The tops of the keys are farther apart than my last keyboard so I still it the gap between the keys way to often. LEDs are nice, lots of color but not as bright as I thought they would be. The iCue software isn't very easy to understand how to set-up. Once I do get a profile set something changes it after a couple of days. Corsair help on their software doesn't suck, it doesn't exist! Thank goodness for other users posting what they have figured out.
