I get gigabit home internet from verizon, but the first floor router couldnt reach my basement home office (~1600 sq ft. Home.) My work laptop uses hogh end corporate security features that require a strong internet signal. When I researched this router system with mesh technology, I realized i didnt need wifi 6e because i dont own any 6e devices yet. I put one node next to the router, one in the office and on midway between the two in the kitchen. Now my whole home is covered. The settup was extremely quick and easy, and using the eero app is a joy. It very easily and clearly helps me view different devices on my network, and their speeds and signal strengths. I even got to use my same network name and password, so i didnt have to reset wifi settings on all of my devices. I test the speeds and tend to get around 400 download and 100-200 upload on all of my devices anywhere in the house or yard. And yes, now my signal is strong enough yo use my clunky work laptop to work from home. For ease of settup, ease of use, and quality, I highky recomend this (almost) top of the line Eero Mesh Wifi system.

I know I know it’s $600........
Trust me I thought about this for awhile.
Best $600 I have ever spent!
I have a 9 year old 3 story house with 55 smart devices.
I was so tired every day waking up to see one of my nest smoke/carbon detectors off line and the light turning yellow on the devices or the ring doorbell and stick up cams not recording at a certain times.
I had 2 Ring pro extenders also that work off and on.
Well guess what!!!!! I don’t have to check my Comcast XFI everyday to see what is offline because
I have eero pro 6 now! I have Comcast GIG service and get speeds in the 700’s on my pc and iPhone 12 Promax and IPad Pro. It is such a good feeling that I know everything is going to be online. Also the range is insane I used to have issues with chamberlain garage door opener with camera.
I can now be across the street and open the garage with my phone and go deep in the backyard and get WiFi. These awesome great looking pods have changed my life! I was so used to waking up checking my xFi to see what is not connected
It’s a great feeling! So do yourself a favor if you have a lot of devices or a smart home this is a great investment! It’s funny I spent $260 august lock $260 ring doorbell pro $250 ecobee voice thermostat $240 8 Alexa’s $900 3 homepods $500 on nest smoke/carbon detectors $300 garage opener, $1000 6 air purifiers etc....
All this spent but I was being cheap on the WiFi 6 mesh system!!!!!
So don’t do what I did go get it now and save the headache!

Absolutely easy to set up with the eero app. Most all the functions I ever need are accessible through the app. Thread Network compatible for IoT compatible. Linking HomeKit to the eero app gives your IoT accessories the security options that were needed but missing. I had a couple issues but were easily resolved by calling their US Customer Support. They rate 10 for 10 on customer support which is huge. The few issues we resolved took a minute but they were always on the phone. This router is a bit $ but worth my money with customer support alone. It’s come down in price and they do have a 2 pack that might serve better. We replaced a Netgear NightHawk router which was also a great router and had ton of functionality once logged in online but a bit above my head. The eero Pro 6 Tri Band Mesh along with the app and customer service gave me everything I needed. My speeds are as solid as the ISP are giving me and there’s no lag in anything I’ve used.

I’ve been very happy with the Eero Pro 6. I Installed the device the day it was released and replaced my “router” Eero Pro with it.
I did have some early issues, as there were some software bugs that Eero quickly sorted out. These were only display related and never impacted the functionality of my network.
Since upgrading, I do notice my Nest Cameras have a better signal now, and the ones at the front of the house connect to my router unit as I’d expect.
My old “router” also ran hot, the Eero Pro 6 version runs much cooler. I still have my three Eero Pro units, I simply repurposed the old router to add another access point.
The new Pro 6 works flawlessly with the older pros, no issues there. You’d never know it’s a mixed network, and it’s screaming fast over.
My only quibble at this point is the loss of HomeKit compatibility. I expect Eero will get this feature added back in at some future point.

Easy setup process; Amazon member so not sure how that would effect a non-member during setup. Love the low key design fits in with everything. The App is super intuitive and detailed for the device. You do have to pay for advanced features/settings in the app but what comes with the free portion is more than enough for me and probably most users. only gripe would be the Ethernet port situation. Only has two on the main hub compared to 4+ on some other routers. The modem takes up one port so now you really only have one. Some this might be a concern if you hard wire a lot of things, luckily I use an Ethernet switch anyways that gives me more ports and even more control with port prioritizing etc. so not a big deal in my scenario. I run a pc and ps5 off the hard connection with 800+ download.. zippy!! No problems with dropped connections/signal strength!

These are fantastic. I upgraded from an ax1800 router for a 3500sf home and had some dead spots. This mesh system took care of them and increased my overall speed. I wish I would have change earlier! Easiest modem/routers I have ever had to install too. Just plug in and set up through the app.

I live in a two-story 3,500 sq/ft home with very thick walls/floors in a hurricane zone (rough sketch of the 1st floor with eero placement - attached). I’ve had a difficult time getting Wi-Fi throughout my house using the Mediacom modem/router combo. I live in a rural community and the internet speed varies wildly throughout the day; it is never constant. We’re supposed to get 1 Gbps speed, which I have never achieved, even plugging directly into the modem with the Mediacom Tech at my house. My best Wi-Fi speed I can get (and not often) is around 650 Mbps when I stand 3 feet from the router. The normal speed we get in the family room is between 200-350 Mbps. My biggest problem was that my son’s computer in the computer room achieved less than 100 Mbps speed because of the thick walls and horrible Wi-Fi transmission from the Mediacom router.
I took the eero assessment and it recommended the eero 6+ with three nodes. I plussed up to the eero Pro 6 AX4200 3-pack (so I could get the benefits of the Tri-band system); placing eero #1 next to the modem/router in the Family Room, #2 in the Computer Room, and eero #3 right above eero #1 in the Master Bedroom on the second floor. eero #1 is in direct line of sight of eero #2. The eero nodes are not connected with ethernet cables. I plugged an ethernet cable into the 2nd port on eero #1 and it is connected to the Family Room TV.
I used the manual and the set up was very easy. It doesn’t matter which eero node you use from the set of three to plug into the modem/router. Some of the YouTube videos had different systems or gave different instructions. I did follow the advice to label the eero Wi-Fi with the same name and password as what I had on the Mediacom modem/router combo.
The Result – Incredible change in speed of the Wi-Fi that we receive throughout the house. The speed is about the same in each room with one of the eero nodes, I even get an excellent signal in the garage now. As you move to other rooms there is a slight drop in the speed, but not by much, and exponentially higher levels of speed than before with using just the Mediacom modem/router. We could never get a solid signal upstairs, now with the eero Pro 6 we get a solid signal to drive all of our smart TVs in the upstairs bedrooms. While it doesn’t make our Mediacom internet signal faster or more consistent (HA!) – the eero Pro 6 is a game changer in making my family happier! This is one of the best/”most bang for your buck” tech purchases that I’ve made from BestBuy.
Best advice not in any of the manuals - I saw in one of the video reviews where the author indicated that you need to bridge your router prior to plugging in the eero. I called Mediacom, and the tech confirmed this and placed my modem/router combo into bridge mode. This is the condition where your router no longer transmits or receives any wireless signals, all the signals now go through the eero mesh Wi-Fi. The tech explained that if you don’t bridge the router, then you could have a degraded signal emitting from the eero because the signal strength is split between the router and the eero, and there could be other complications.

I recently purchased two eero pro 6 routers a few weeks ago I currently have AT&T U-verse fiber and I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk about 3 years ago and it was fine until I couldn’t do the updates on my phone and my Apple products stated that the security was weak and the fact that I have ring products Nest Thermostats and Alexa’s in every room and I am adding more smart home items so I decided on the eero pro 6 because of the updated security and that I am able to add up to 75 items which means I have space to add items.
This product is so easy to set up all I had to do was plug the Ethernet of the eero pro 6 in the switch that AT&T had placed in my family room download the app setup my new network then all I had to do was decide where I wanted to place the other eero pro 6 I decided the office upstairs just plugged it in and that was it. One thing I love about this product is that it tells me when it is updating security automatically and it tells me when a new device has been added to the network. I live in a 2578 sq foot home and no blind spots so far I get strong signals all through the house.
So if you have high speed Internet this would be for you.
Prior to purchasing I did my research and because I have fiber this would allow me to get the full potential from my high speed fiber and it does.
I love the fact that I can have all my smart home devices and ring doorbell and my Apple products on this network and if I have guest they can either use the AT&T or Netgear network.

I was bummed out when I realized that using the Ring security system forces you to use the basestation as your main router. I was happy with my existing Asus router. Since the Ring basestation is a Eero router, the only way to extend your range and bandwidth (without a switch) is with Eero products. These extenders have worked surprisingly well, however. The setup is unbelievably simple. Using an ethernet cable is completely optional. You just plug them in to either an outlet or an ethernet cable and add them with your Eero app. Since they support ipv6, you wont have to worry about too many devices on your network. It's perfect for the modern smart home.

This is probably the easiest ans most reliable of the consumer-level WiFi routers to set up. Anyone with a smartphone can do it. Coverage is great (as long as you have realistic expectations), and the app used to manage the device is first rate. It’s very easy to follow. We signed up for the Security add-on, which is an annual subscription. To my surprise, it prevented me from visiting what was apparently a known spammer site. First time I’ve seen that. A pop-up came up and started “Uh-oh, you don’t want to go there. It’s not safe.” (Or something like that.)
Highly recommend. If you have a larger home, go for the three-pack of this PRO version. I’ve found the Pro WiFi 6 to be far superior to the previous generation (which is why the previous gen is selling so cheap now.)

Good upgrade from my old Eero Mesh WIFI system. WIFI 6 compatibility is great, and definitely saw an increase in WIFI speed. I also have a lot of smart home and IoT devices connected, so this upgrade can handle a large amount of devices while maintaining consistent signal strength.
Ookla gives my speed at 600 mb download and 50 mb upload on an Optimum 1 gigabit plan. I used to get around 180 mb download and 40 mb upload with my old eero mesh system. This is perfect for my 2 story townhouse (2 eeros downstairs, 1 upstairs).
Only part I don't like is that you have to use the application on your phone to configure it ( no web interface). If youre looking for a easy set up router upgrade, this is it!

So far these are working great and install was less than 30 minutes, I like that install can be done using serial number if it does go in automatically. My spectrum is 500 mps, after doing speed test I'm seeing 585mps. On my old Linksys 2200 with two child nodes it was 3800 mps and I was getting a lot of buffering while streaming, so far I get no buffering using these eero routers. I tried two other routers with zero success setting up, these didn't work the plug in type of way but when it gave me the serial number option I tried it and was pleased it said eero device found. Everything is pretty straight forward as eero pretty much does all the work so yes I happy and will keep these.

The EEROS is a GAME CHANGER!

I’m a straight shooter.—EEROS was not my first choice; I had not done any research on the EEROS at all. I went to Best Buy searching for the Orbi. The EEROS happened to have been mis-stocked by BB’s employees; they were stocked in the Orbi section. So, I started looking into them. A BB employee said I had 15 days to return it if it didn’t work out; I decided to take the gamble.
Works as great so far! Had it for at least 90days. My modem/router is on the third floor and I need internet to reach down to the garage and basement. I have tried extenders and boosters but the connection was still choppy.
The EEROS has been a game changer!
It’s easy to install or connect. Haven’t had any troubleshooting issues (knocking on wood lol). I get internet all around the property. I have several devices simultaneously connected (ie, computers/laptops, phones, tablets, cameras, printers, etc. ).
Needless to say, I am quite satisfied; EEROS has delivered what it promised.

Eero has made an excellent WiFi 6 mesh system.
First thing, super easy setup. Took me about 15 minutes to setup all three. Two via ethernet and the third wireless.
WiFi speed on my Gigabit internet is definitely faster than the previous generation eeros, but not nearly gigabit.
My ethernet connection gets a reliable 900+Mbps, but the wifi is around 300Mbps down and for what ever reason the upload is over 700Mbps.

I've been setting up my own routers for years. Typically it takes some time for me to get everything the way I like it. The setup here was very simple and quick. I had everything configured and reconnected in under 30 mins, EVERYTHING. I have gig-ethernet at the house and ran a test last night on my laptop, easily 700 Mbps up and down about 30 feet from the router and through a wall.

This mesh system has been a true game changer. Our home is 3 levels and over 6000 SF, and the Comcast internet enters the house on one far end. Using our previous Netgear Nighthawk AC1900, we would frequently have to disconnect from the Wi-Fi when we move to the other end of the house on either the top or bottom floor. With 3 different access points, we move seamlessly through the house without losing connectivity. I purposely waited 6 weeks before writing this review to test the device under several different circumstances, including a small family get-together when more devices would be connected to it. It continued to work perfectly. I have only had to reset the system once in 6 weeks, compared to the weekly resets for my previous router. On rare occasion (once weekly), a phone or tablet moved from one floor to another would still try to connect to the previous access point. This is easily fixed but turning the Wi-Fi off then immediately back on to force the device to connect to the closest access point. The eero Secure was a nice feature, but I didn't feel the need to keep it after the free trial. I don't use Amazon Alexa devices, so I cannot comment on that part. Attached is one of many internet speed tests that I did using my iPhone XS.
My favorite thing about it was the setup. It really did take only 20 minutes!

Very easy to set up. I replaced the ones my current ISP is renting to me, and it was all done via the Eero app.
One will be used as a Gateway (connected to your Modem via Ethernet) and the other two act as Repeaters.
Your devices will automatically connect to the nearest Eero in your home.
I was considering the 6E but it's considered overkill given the current WiFi frequency available.
Eero App also lets you monitor all everything about your network in real time. This feature is something my even modem's app cannot do seamlessly.
