Can't recommend highly enough. Had two ATT Extenders and still couldn't get WiFi everywhere in the house. EERO took care of the problem and have even better speed to all devices. Easy to set up and didn't have to change any settings on the Modem. Use to have speeds of 12 Mbps to TV's and now have over 100 Mbps.

Such a solid mesh router. I upgraded from an older google model and I love how much more user friendly the eero is. Additionally, my speeds are increased and the wifi range and increased speeds are incredible.

Eero pro 6e: solid Wi-Fi mesh network

Just got 1 Gbps internet service installed, and received 2 x erro pro 6 from the internet service provider (ISP). I knew I would need additional coverage so I added 3 x eero pro 6e from Best Buy. It turns out that I only needed 4 x erro so I dropped one of the pro 6 and ended up using 3 x pro 6e and 1 of of 2 of the pro 6 which was supplied by ISP. The installation was very easy. I learned that you can have too many erro extenders which manifest itself in internet traffic collisions and 2 of 4 erros crashing requiring an unplug and plug to restore system; also impacted Wi-Fi performance. Once I got that sorted out, started receiving stable performance. Direct ethernet connections maximizes internet performance. Wi-Fi performance improves as distance to erro extender decreases. Eero app is useful as it allows you the managed (pause or unpause) internet traffic on each connected device as well as other useful monitoring. Price was right when I purchased it from Best Buy (much lower than list price). So far I’m happy with the purchase.

I have a two story house with a finished basement. The only Ethernet wall outlet is in the basement, and signal strength and speed was low and not very strong on 2nd floor and outdoor patio with my old Netgear Nighthawk router. The Eero Pro 6E (w/3 satellites) filled our need for a strong signal strength and fast speeds (500 mbs max download with our current plan) in every part of our home and on our patio. In the basement office, where the base gateway unit sits, we get full 500mbps speeds. On our main floor, we average 350 - 400 mbps. On our second floor, we average 250 - 300 mbps. And on our patio, we average 150 - 200 Mbps. The old Nighthawk router speeds were well below that and could not usually even reach outdoor to our patio. So overall the Eero mesh system has been an excellent buy for us and well worth the price.

This mesh wifi system simply works! I'm originally a Netgear guy; however, after a bad experience trying the Netgear Mesh wifi system, I returned that and got this EERO system. This thing was easy to install. The app works smoothly! Only thing I've noticed, which isn't an issue to me, is it doesn't let you control which wifi band your device will use (it automatically sets it). It's not a bad thing since some folks prefer it to do that anyways. Even so, my devices have all connected seamlessly. Most of all, I'm able to have coverage of my entire home!

Judging them on their own terms, they're great. I have not had any performance issues, and they've generally improved performance of devices on my home network. I have been frustrated several times, however, by the lack of certain more advanced, granular features that I would have expected to be available (given Eero's reputation) — but I guess they didn't specifically promise me these features, so I can't hold it against them too much. There are some other quirks about the app and how administering the devices works (for example, in addition to my home Eero, I was also managing the Eero network at an organization I'm not longer a part of, but I could not find anyone to transfer admin responsibilities to, and since there's no way to just disassociate my account from that network *without* first switching it to another person, I am now stuck with access to this network I do not wish to be associated with. It's a long story, and it's a niche use case, I admit, but it's still annoying and I feel like the app could handle it better). Given these issues and the fact that Eero has opted to drop HomeKit support from their products, I would probably not use them if I had this to do over again.

I had the Eero pro 6 and decided to upgrade to Eero pro 6E, I was skeptical at first thinking it wouldn't make a difference but it did, less congestion. With the former it did great but with the 6E it's better in performance and speed plus it is future proof. Speeds up more with the 6ghz. I enjoy Eero products are the best in my opinion.

The speed is good. Easy set up. I have several devices that are now useless because they only work on 2.4 ghz. The fixes eero describes don’t work for my Brother printer, Eufy security light/camera and B-hyve time will not connect.

      Posted .

Hi Rdh684. Thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with the eero Pro 6E system. eero uses a single SSID that allows devices to live on the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz radio frequency. Devices that only work on the 2.4 GHz frequency are still usable with eero. To get these devices set up, you’ll need to temporarily disable the 5GHz bands. Do this in the eero app by tapping on Settings > Troubleshooting > 'My device won't connect', then tapping on the "Temporarily pause 5GHz" button. This will disable 5GHz for 10 minutes, which can help with setting up some 2.4GHz only devices. If you still can’t get your devices connected, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347 so they can troubleshoot further. They’re available Monday-Sunday 6am-8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day! AmazonDevices

A Future-Proof Mesh Powerhouse for Gigabit Homes

The Eero Pro 6E is a top-tier mesh Wi-Fi system that’s built for speed and stability, especially in homes with multi-gigabit internet like Verizon Fios. Setup is extremely user-friendly through the Eero app, and the system delivers strong, consistent coverage across large spaces, even with multiple devices connected. Its support for Wi-Fi 6E is a big win, unlocking the 6GHz band for newer devices and reducing congestion. Performance-wise, it handles 4K streaming, gaming, and smart home devices without breaking a sweat. The tri-band design ensures efficient traffic management, and the system plays well with Alexa for smart integrations. However, the lack of advanced customization (like detailed QoS settings or native VPN support) might disappoint power users. Also, many features are locked behind a subscription with Eero Secure+, which feels a bit restrictive. Overall, the Eero Pro 6E is a fantastic choice for users who want a fast, easy-to-manage, and future-ready mesh system — especially in homes with gigabit+ internet and lots of devices.

These are so easy to set up in the Eero app. You can even quickly make a guest network and display a QR code to let visitors log into it. If you still have a computer or camera that only works on 2G though, the WiFi 6 systems won’t work for you because they blend the bandwidth together. My advice is get new equipment and enjoy the speed and range of this device. For IT pros, this Eero even supports bridge mode.

Seems to be a pretty good wi-fi system; I won't say that it has dramatically improved my home's wi-fi internet speeds versus the experience I was getting with the standard verizon router - but all-all-all, the devices are nice, very easy to install, and the app is nice to use. Bit of a shame they push the 'plus' subscription at you so 'front and center' - that's not necessary. I had an Archer router before, and that had an additional subscription service that was not as 'in your face'. My wi-fi has been pretty stable since installing, and speeds consistent. Would recommend if you want solid coverage over a larger home, and a degree of future-proofing, with the side benefit of very simple install and a very good supporting app.

It’s not as fast as Orbi 960 or ASUS zenwifi. It was disappointing at first but I don’t know if it learned our habits or got an update, but it works fantastic now. Features aren’t as robust as the others but it does what it is designed to do. Speed and features don’t mean anything if you are constantly being dropped or have to reboot the system. I just want it to work when I need the internet and I don’t want to hear the kids complaining about the internet being down and me having to go 4 flight of stairs to figure out what wrong. Plus you can usually get it at an economical price on sale.

I purchased the Eero Pro 6E to extend my existing mesh network where I already have 2 others. I now have a total of 3 nodes which are connected via Ethernet cables and a switch. My devices have no issue transitioning across routers as I move around the house and the speed is great.

Solid router for the price. I’ve used an Orbi for the last 5 or so years and has been the best money can buy. But at today’s prices I could not justify spending a couple of thousand bucks for a router. There have to be cheaper options that can be just as good. So after doing some research, I decided on the eero. I’ve had it over a month and it has not disappointed. Setup was seamless with the old router and has most to features my old orbi had. So far so good!

I love these mesh routers! They were trivial to set up taking only a couple minutes, and they are extremely fast, and signal coverage is excellent everywhere in the house now. They are pricey. But at this point I would say they are worth it.
