Unpacking and setup is pretty straight forward and takes about an hour to an hour and a half. The step by step instructions included are easy to follow, first you fill the four individual ink tanks, Then the ink is charged which takes about 10 minutes. The printer connected wirelessly to my network using WPS. It then downloads and installs all of the software required and the printer is ready to use. This is not a compact printer, it does take quite a bit of desk space but if you have the room for it you will love it. Two sided printing is a nice feature as well as the rear loading paper tray. It has two paper trays in the front so you can have letter size in one and legal size or photo paper in the other. The output tray on the front opens automatically when the printinng starts, so no more printouts falling to the floor. It also has an automatic document feeder which is a nice feature. I scanned and printed both documents and photos. The scanner is very quiet and fairly fast. The resulting prints are excellent. I printed several color photos on both plain and glossy photo paper and the color printing is comparable to a photo lab print. Installation and setup of this printer was very straightforward and easy. I set it up and then started exploring all its features and there are many, which is nice. I love how crisp and clear all printing and copying is, big improvement over my last printer. I love that there are two paper trays and I can use multiple sizes of paper. Loading the ink into the printer was not difficult at all and I feel very secure that I won't run out anytime soon since it prints 7500 black ink and 6000 color ink pages! The epson eco tank pro all in one is the best printer i have used thus far. It uses minimal ink compared to others so i can print more with less ink used. When printing pictures they come out clear without streaks like other printers do. The epson eco tank has a great refresh rate so i can quickly print multiple projects without wasting time. I have tried several features the printer offers and they have been flawless. I can't wait to try out the rest of the features, and to see how many sheets of paper i can use before i need to replace the ink. I've had this printer for a week and have utilized it as my fundamental printer in my home office. It has been great thus far. Starting, setup takes no time than other printers but connecting to the WIFI is took a better part of the time. The printer works incredible for shading, dark and white, or reports. The printer accompanies four extra ink cartridges. Additionally, the substitution ink cartridges are reasonably priced. I don't have any stress when I need to print out any documents or reports. Remote printing works fantastic. I was able to add the printer to my network effortlessly. On my iPhone, I can utilize the Air-print to print work documents and school papers. Epson even has a feature called Epson Connect where they assign an email address that you can use to print photographs and documents on the printer from any gadget that has email from any location. Generally, this printer gives remarkable incentives too and is an incredible printer for home & office utilization. Print quality is awesome and it prints and duplicates quick. The ink tanks are anything but difficult to fill and are cheap. The wireless printing compatibility is a great feature and convenient, it makes printing from my phone quick and I have not had any issues with the Air-print feature so far. The display screen on the printer is bright and easy to understand and control, it even extends out. I am enjoying using the printer. It does not take up much space on my desk, no clutter with wires. I’ve had this printer for only a few days, but I can say this is a solidly built printer that I would not hesitate to recommend. Setup was easy, performance is good, and quality is about what I would expect for this kind of printer. The setup process is easy, since the touch panel walks you through the process. Setup guided me through the ink filling process, connected to my Wi-Fi, and even downloaded updated firmware. The printer is heavy, so you might need another person to assist with lifting. Ink filling seems almost foolproof since the containers of ink each have a unique cap that would make it extremely difficult to put in the wrong color tank. There is also a semi-transparent opening so you can visually see the ink level just by looking at the front of the printer. The package included a CD with printer drivers and scanning software, but I just downloaded from Epson’s web site. I’d recommend installing the printer drivers to utilize functionality of the printer. I’ve had mixed results letting Windows 10 find drivers on its own----it will work but you can’t access some of the features. One thing that is pretty cool is that the output tray will auto-extend in case you forget to pull it out before printing. No more accidently having your printouts hit the floor. You can even push a button on the front panel to retract the output tray. For more advanced customization of the printer, you can log into a web interface. You can view current status and control many things like printing preferences, networking and security. I just received the Epson ET-5880 and I love it. First, I got it unboxed and set up on my desk and turned it on. It walked me thru how to fill up the ink in the printer. This printer is the EcoTank, so it doesn't have ink cartridges you buy, you just buy the ink and easily fill it up at the front of the printer. They also have tabs at the top of the bottles so you don't get the wrong color ink in the wrong tank. After the ink was filled, I got the printer connected to my WIFI and then after that it immediately did a firmware update. After the printer was set up, I decided to try to get it to print pictures from my phone, since that is how I usually print things. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and found out that I needed to install 2 different apps to get WIFI printing from my phone to work. The first app is called Epson Print Enabler, which is an app that runs in the background to allow you to connect to your printer. The second app is called Epson iPrint, which is the actual app you open and use to connect to your printer and print things. I clicked on connect to printer and it didn't take the app long to find my printer so I could connect to it. Just make sure your phone and the printer are on the same WIFI. After I got it connected, I tested the printer by printing some pictures of my kids from my phone. The quality set on high was amazing and it still printed fairly quickly. I printed on 4x6 size photo paper with no problem. This printer does have 3 places to pull your paper from, Cassettes 1 and 2, and a rear tray. In the phone app, you can only select Cassette 1, Rear Tray, or Automatic. You cannot select Cassette 2. I was very pleased that I was able to get my pictures the size I needed them and the way I wanted them just by using the Epson iPrint app. I like how when you print something that the tray that catches the printed item automatically pops out to catch your documents or pictures. There is a button on the left side of the screen that you just press when you are done and the tray goes back into the printer. Secondly, I took the CD that came with it and loaded the software onto my laptop. I am running Windows 10 on my computer so it was easy to get the printer software set up. I inserted the CD and was able to start the installation easily. After a few clicks, the software started downloading and installing on my laptop. It did take about 15 minutes for everything to install but I got it installed and successfully printed the test page. The software install easily walks you thru connecting to your Epson printer thru WIFI and also helps you to register your printer. All in all the software was easy to use and install for this printer, seeing how others printers I have owned are difficult to get working thru WIFI. So the way this printer is, I would highly recommend this printer for anyone who needs a great and easy to use printer or for even a small business since it has 2 separate Cassette holders that holds 500 sheets of paper and with the ink filled, it will print over 7,500 pages before needing ink refilled. And also with the scanner on top and a fax machine built in, it is definitely a printer that will replace all your other printers. What an outstanding printer. My husband and I own our own business and we print a lot. We send out flyers quarterly and need a printer that provides many options and is flawless. This printer, from start to finish, is above all the rest. The setup was a breeze. It provides step by step instructions and allows you to move fast through the process. The trays are not flimsy and feel very sturdy. The design of the printer is so chic and looks great anywhere you place the printer. The ink tank was a piece of cake to fill and there was absolutely no mess.  I was able to hook up my WIFI instantly without a problem. During the print test I forgot to pull the tray out and it automatically slide the tray out so that my print would have a place to go. The colors and print was clear and perfect. My husband and I had to print 50 documents and it did it in no time and every sheet without error. One of the disadvantages of working from is that I do not get the benefit of using the heavy duty multi function printers that you normally see in a company office. Therefore, I am normally very limited in terms of what types of documents I can print as well as how large of a workload I can print. This printer has really helped me with all of my limitations and it prints quickly as well as remotely. I give this printer 2 thumbs and 2 big toes up! I just received this ET-5880 printer and I have to say the print quality is excellent, and the fact that I don't have to buy another cartridge is great. It seams this color all-in-one printer is a very good choice for a home printer that everybody at home can learn to use. Epson concentrates its strength and targets this market segment, those who want a reservoir, or supertank, printer. It certainly beats any cartridge printer, in my opinion. I gotta say it is bigger than I thought it would be & takes up twice the space of the current Epson NX-100 I have, but that is my own personal preference & a longer cable should solve this issue. It has two paper trays & designed for small businesses and not just a personal printer. You get started with lots of ink. For the average home, it should be a long time before ordering more ink & in about 2 years I'll see if they last as long as they say they will. The ink is easy and safe to load. And it feels great to be cartridge-free. Print quality is excellent to say the least, with highly legible text that's appropriate for most businesses and personal use. Also, its color photo quality printing is equal &/or superior to laser jet printers. This printer is also well-documented with a user manual that's available as PDF online. This user manual is written in correct and plain language....although I would still prefer a paper owners manual. Scanning was perfect as well. I gave these features a quick test with a high resolution image. Without a microscope the original and copy are indistinguishable from one another. I'm very happy with this printer. I've had numerous printers of different brands, sizes and price ranges (Lexmark, Canon, HP, and Epson: NX-100). This printer so far is my favorite. No more expensive ink cartridges. I highly recommend that if you're shopping for an inkjet, you invest in this product, it does not disappoint. This is and excellent high-end printer. Over-the-top functionality, super print quality and has an outstanding scanner. That said, it's a bear to setup and keep set up. Great inking system.

When I received my Epson ET-5880 it was every easy to unpack. Setting up the machine was easy and very self-explanatory. Loading the ink was really easy, however, I spilled a little when extracting one of the bottles from the machine. Now setting up the computers is a different story. On the first computer I downloaded the software and drivers. I installed the software and followed all the instructions that it told me to do. I was setting up a wireless connection. When I was finished, I was only able to scan documents, not print them. So, I went through the process again and used a USB connection and everything works flawlessly now. On the second computer I set it up for a wireless connection and had no problems at all. It prints very fast and very very quietly. Everything I print or scan comes out very crisp. I have already recommended it to family and friends. The printer I had before this was an HP multifunction printer. This Epson blows it out of the water. Printer worked great, saved hundreds $$ on ink, but only lasted 18 months when a paper jam error appeared that could not be cleared. I am considering the same for a replacement, adding Geek Squad protection to this next purchase.
