Coming from an EVGA 980 I've had for what feels like 100 years I had to get another EVGA card because their warranties are second to none and my 980 had served me well for so long. Slammed this card in my build making sure to use two separate power cables to hook it up. Fired up 3DMark and Borderlands 3. 3DMark score was like 3.5x my 980 and I was able to run the BL3 benchmark at 4k Ultra settings at 64.38 FPS, which is straight nuts. Fit in my Meshify C without any issues.

TL;DR It's a 3080. What more do you want. Great gpu. Play @ 1440p max settings in Apex Legends and get over the 144 fps cap. Control with all Ray tracing on is incredible looking. Around 100 fps with DLSS on. 45-55 with it off. Never hit above 66 degrees under load. Quiet as well. Much more so than the 2080S this replaced. Though I haven't had to use it. Evga's CS is top notch as well. If you can find this in stock. Buy first, think later.

EVGA is just the best. So far the temps and out of box performance has been amazing. Hits 1905MHz sustained once in game for 30min + , easily his 2GHz+ without the need to add voltage. I'm personally a huge fan of the heatsink design on this model, and unlike some other ones its not huge for the sake of being huge.

Beast of a card. Runs through games. I had a 1070 card that was also awesome. On a 4770k / 32 gb ram which was more than enough honestly for games. I play mostly Dota 2 And battlefield. In hind sight my 1070 card is plenty good enough. I just built a 10850k /64 gb of ram Because I had too much time on my hands and only wanted a beast mode card, This is it. I got an ez brand rgb brace for the card, but this card is lighter than my 1070 so it’s more for looks.

I'm focusing on the quality after the purchase. I can feel better knowing that not just Nvidia is having supply issues as AMD, Sony, and Microsoft all seem the have issues with new product launches. However the card is truly amazing. I upgraded from a EVGA 1070ti and pure horsepower of the new card is easy to see. Any game, max settings, with ray tracing... No problem. I am using a 3440x1440 120hz monitor so depending on your screen your results may vary. The card itself has nice metal back plate and the small rgb is decent vs the full bar on the FTW 3. I'm not a heavy overclocker and believe that this card may be limited in comparison again to the FTW3. The one shocking aspect is the box. You'd think that with a nicer card that the box would be pretty good but I guess they are putting money into things that count.

I've had this card for almost a month, and it runs amazing. Definitely run 2 8-pin cables instead of a single daisy chain so you don't under power it. The "boost clock" is 1755mhz from EVGA, but with it using the clock curve you'll achieve higher in game. Also using Precision X1 to overclock, I applied +125/+600 core/memory overclock, with power limit maxed out at 108%, and it's hitting 2085mhz in benchmarks and games. Check out my Time Spy benchmark results with those OC settings. Also using X1 to set a good fan curve, it idles around 25-30°C and hits 60-65°C under load. It's an awesome GPU, playing everything on Ultra settings @ 1440p, I'm getting 110-144fps depending on game. They say the best 3080 is the one that's in stock. If it's this one, then you won't be disappointed! (Side note: in my pictures, when I first built my rig, I used the daisy chain PCIe cable that came with my PSU, but have since swapped it out to 2 individual 8-pin PCIe cables.)

Gotta say, I’m absolutely lucky to have obtained this card. You can get a card by refreshing the page so and beat the bots lol. Well this card has been a real winner. +90 clock OC and +200 memory OC at 107% power. COD MW and BOCW both will max clock at 2055mhz. Power level only ever hits 320-330 watts max. I do wish that there was an official EVGA BIOS that would allow us to hit higher wattage on this, at least up to 360 or so. But I can’t complain too much. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and would do it again.

Was fortunate enough to get one. It actually does not have the "red lips" anymore. The newer ones have black instead. It looks great in my case. Installing it wasnt hard, it feels very well built. I got very good airflow in my case and Temps are not an issue. At 1080p I havent seen it go above 70. At 4k max everything in games the highest its gotten is 75° (fps 60-120 depending on the game). Havent adjusted fan curve or settings, all stock. I believe I will be happy with it for a long time. Just need a 4k 120hz or 144hz monitor to pair with it now. First time with EVGA, but very impressed so far.

Out of the box, the card can easily hit over 80C under full load. Other 3080s managed to keep under 70C doing the same benchmark and in the same rig. Also a few cm of the heatsink “sticks” out of the card and kinda ruins it aesthetically imo. They should’ve made the backplate the same length as it and with a cutout if screencooling was what they were going for.

Easy installation, great performance! FS 2020 runs great at 1920x1080 -- all settings cranked up to max. Modern Warfare runs great at 4K -- all settings cranked to max. I had the 2080 Super before this, and my 3DMark score jumped from 11,000 to 16,000. The 2080 was a great card -- but this 3080 really steps up the performance in a very substantial way. At idle, the card is silent (the fan shuts itself off), during gaming, the card is very very quiet. Idle temps seem to be 40-50c, and in game temps hover around 70-75c. Awesome card, no complaints, get one (if you can get your hands on one). My only gripe: The box is cheap compared to the 2080 box. Pretty picky observation. But the 2080 box was way nicer :)

Obviously I have to start by disclaiming that you'd be lucky to get a 3080 in the first place, but besides that point, I can't emphasize enough how great EVGA cards are, and this one is no exception. I personally think this is a great compromise on size (2.5 slots) and cooling (I get 24-30 C at idle, and max of 60-65 C while gaming in a small form factor case) compared to other cards, and for close to MSRP price for a 3080

Been trying to get this card for months and finally got it, and oh boy is it a huge upgrade compared to my old gtx1060 3gb card. Card runs pretty quiet and temps and great, I've heard some 3080s have high temps, but this one has great cooling. only downside to this card would be the availability, hopefully they get more cards soon so more people can enjoy them.

EVGA 3080 XC3 Ultra, second only to EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra. Still a beast of a card, best value considering other board manufacture 3080. The second best cooler next to FTW3 Ultra. Much better than the founder edition, so worth the premium for maximum thermal and power delivery.

Purchased finally in January 2021, but for 2020 prices after staking out GPUs for a couple months. I also snagged an FE and I put them in identical builds, so I can compare them a bit in this review. After store pickup, packaging seemed a little flimsy and beat up, but the card was nestled nicely in its clamshell and in perfect condition. It's h e a v y, and I got one of those anti-sag brackets right away. Compared to the FE, the bracket is doing more for this card, though they are similar weights. The card came with a different bracket that screws on the back of the card and attaches to your case, but I have no idea what kind of case this useless bracket would work with. It also came with a VGA adapter and minimal but adequate documentation. Install was perfect and no surprises. Quality feel. Software and driver install was great too. I went with stock fan and voltage profiles for a bit before trying Afterburner and Precision XOC. This is where things got messy. I have an MSI motherboard, and I like Afterburner well enough, so I thought.... just let me break it down: Stock: Fans didn't kick on until 55-60 degrees C, which it hit on idle, then I put some stress on the card and things hit 80+ degrees easily. Afterburner: Custom fan curve installed, looking good, tell my spouse to play some games and have fun. Spouse: "it was fine, now it's only 30fps! I hate this card!" ... The fans never stayed on, profiles kept resetting, etc. The card was overheating and throttling itself. I sensed compatibility issues because the FE worked with Afterburner just fine. Precision: Works like a charm, bonus RGB control. There's an "aggressive" fan curve that works nicely, but I customized it a bit. Having fans at 30-40% while idle is almost silent, and having a more aggressive curve for gaming is comfortable. Temps are 30 degrees C idle and max 70 degrees under load. If pushed to 100% fan speeds, yes it's a jet engine. Oh well. I think the FE under load is slightly louder (exhaust near the display ports will do that). Honestly, check evga forums and others to tune your card though, don't listen to me haha. Overall, performance is everything that was hoped for in a 3080. Now that cooling and voltages are tuned and I found happy mediums everywhere I wanted, this beast is beautiful. 2k 144hz gaming is a breeze, and 4k is good. It feels amazing to load a game and go to graphics setting and scroll all the way to maximum.

I had recently gotten a G9 monitor and with that many pixels my old card could just not hold out. With Cyberpunk needed to drop to high settings and minimal ray tracing and just squeaking by. After I got this card I was up at 60FPS with settings maxed out. It's a very generic card that does not overclock (as is true of most of the 3xxx series cards). My case had poor airflow and a huge air cooler so I bought a hybrid conversion kit from EVGA and that made a HUGE difference in temps and noise level. Where it was noticeable with the noise it went to barely hearing it. And temps went from high 70's in demanding games down to mid 50's with the fans at 70% Love EGVA customer support. If you want to overclock go with the FTW3 cards.

This is a great GPU. The looks are great and awesome performance. Low fan noise. It is well built and well packaged. I have owned many EVGA products and have been happy with all of them so far. Know that if something does go wrong, EVGA will be ready to help make things right. The EVGA website is very helpful and straightforward and answers many questions that may crop up. I was prepared for this to be bulky in size, but, compared to the EVGA 1080 Ti, this is much smaller and lighter. The 1080 Ti is 5 1/2" wide and this is only 4 1/2" wide and about the same length. This GPU was not very easy to get my hands on due to shortages and scalpers, but, was worth the effort and the wait. If you can find one......I highly suggest purchasing it. Enjoy!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this card. The fact that I won the Best Buy lottery to get this 3080 literally made my entire year! It is such a powerhouse, and can run any game I have at 5120 x 1440 (when paired with my 5800x). Even the most demanding titles run at 60fps at this resolution on all Ultra settings, and the X1 precision software makes it really easy to change settings such as OC and fan speeds. I'm by no means a expert, but this card was as easy as I've seen for physical install and driver updates. I still can't believe I got this card to begin with, and everyday I've possessed it has shown why it's so high in demand. If you can get your hands on one, you should absolutely do so, trust me...

Fantastic card. Hits the sweet spots. Powerful, quiet, excellent. Wish the Geforce 3080 label on it had led, weird to see it missing when all the evga labels have it... but that's such a minor complaint.
