The GE Immersion 3in1 Blender is solidly built and lighter than I expected from an all-metal blender. It comes with 2 other attachments, Whisk and Chopper. All the attachments of the GE Immersion blender attach easily to the wand. There are 2 speeds on the wand, Low and High which helps when whipping cream or egg whites. The chopping attachment can also be use for pureeing as well. I used it for my fresh pumpkin pie filling. The chopping/pureeing attachment is a bit loud but not as loud as my separate Food Processing appliance. The Immersion Blender and the whisk are quiet. The GE Immersion Blender chopping attachment is perfect for chopping vegetables with either a rough chop by just pulsing, or a fine chop using the low speed first then the higher speed for a short period.
The GE Immersion Blender itself has an S-shaped single steel blade. The end of the wand is all metal so you have to careful if using it to blend in a non-stick Teflon pot. It would have been better if there was a plastic cap at the end so that the blender could be used in any cookware. As it stands now, in order to use the Immersion Blender, you have to transfer the food to a separate container that won’t get scratched. The whisk is also metal but I used it mainly for whipping heavy cream and egg whites for meringue. The GE Whisk attachment does and excellent job of whipping. I don’t have to drag out my heavy stand mixer just to do a small whipping job. The whisk attachment is perfect for making scrambled eggs. The eggs come out nice and fluffy and light when cooked.
Cleaning the GE Immersion 3in1 Immersion Blender is quite easy since all the attachments are removable. The chopping attachment comes in 2 parts, the main cup, and the blade inside. The blade comes out easily to wash. I wash everything by hand, just making sure I don’t touch the blades of the chopper.
The only con I have is the metal end of the immersion blender itself. It limits which cookware I can use it in. If I use a non-stick saucepan, I have to transfer the food to a separate container that’s safe for metal. If GE added a plastic guard at the end of the Immersion Blender attachment, then it could be used on any cookware.
I recommend the GE Immersion 3in1 Blender not just for its functionality but it’s compact design. Combining 3 common appliances in one, is perfect for those of us with limited storage space.

I was excited to receive this for my birthday and have used it a handful of times. Yesterday while chopping some walnuts for a topping, this happened. There was not sign of warmth or smell that indicated to me that it was melting. It just spun off! I didn’t understand since you would think it could handle chopping nuts and just various things like vegetables. I’ll reach out to the manufacturer, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Not sure if they make all metal one.

I was looking for a simple hand blender for mixing drinks and making apple sauce. The GE immersion blender fits the bill. The hand unit has a soft rubber grip and stainless steel body and looks upscale. The blender has some weight to it, but not in a heavy way, it feels like it is build solid. There are two speeds, low and hi and when the blender is on it is very quiet and has good power .
The unit includes a wand mixing tool for mixing in cups, a whisk attachment and a chopper attachment. These attachments help this little blender act like a larger one that is also portable.
All of the attachment remove from the base unit with easy and this allows for fast clean up after use.
You would be hard pressed to find a better compact blender than the Immersion blender

This little machine has a lot of power. I used the whisk attachment to blend some eggs for an omelet and some flew out of the bowl! The unit has 2 speeds- I will definitely use the "low" speed next time!
I blended some soup with the immersion attachment. It did not puree the kale completely but did chop it into smaller bits.
We used the bowl attachment with the blade to sneak some spinach into spaghetti sauce for my grandson who turns his nose up at vegetables- That's a WIN in my book!
It stores pretty easily. I don't have a lot of cabinet space but it packs up pretty compactly. I have had just an immersion blender before but I love that this has a whisk and chopping bowl. It's like 3 appliances in one.

Fantastic Addition to Your Kitchen

Cooking from home has definitely increased in 2020-2021 because we are all spending more time at home. Like many, I am finding that there are Kitchen tools that just make it easier to make something special. The GE Immersion Blender has been a welcomed addition to the kitchen and our cooking experience!
PROS:
- Unboxing and setup is as easy as can be. Everything is ready to go out of the box and it’s pretty easy to use and understand without reading the instructions.
- The device itself has a really nice look to it! I like the blend of stainless steel and rubber type feel to it. Overall it looks like a high end durable kitchen appliance.
- I will also say, I like the “Low” and “High” power levels you can use while using this. It’s a useful way to work with different foods or textures.
- Using the immersion blender part of it works fantastic! It has really nice power and is surprisingly quiet. It made quick work of the food I needed to make into a sauce.
- The accessories are a great added bonus. The whisk is very useful and the food processor attachment is easy to use. It’s quite handy to have all three of those options at your disposal while cooking but all with one tool.
CONS:
- It would be nice if it was battery operated however, I see the benefits to it being cord powered given it has better strength and you never have to recharge.
BOTTOM LINE:
- If you are looking for a high end quality immersion blender, this GE one is an excellent choice! It is durable, has nice power, and the attachments make it even more useful. It will definitely help step up your cooking game!

This GE hand immersion blender is replacing a stick blender that I’ve been using for many years now but has cracked near the blending blade due to the housing being made of plastic. I like that the GE immersion blender is made mostly of stainless steel, including the blender stick attachment, so it feels a lot more durable, and I also don’t have to worry about plastic melting or leeching into hot foods during use. There are, however, still a couple plastic parts that don’t contact your food, like the attachment point for the accessories on both the motor and attachment sides.
I like having the additional attachment options of the chopping base and whisk since kitchen storage space is at a premium, and I just don’t have the room for a lot of single-function kitchen gadgets. This stick blender has two speeds, high and low, which are controlled with separate buttons on the handle grip. The upper button is low speed and the lower button is high, which for me was counterintuitive, and I had to get used to remembering which one to press. The tool isn’t that heavy though, and it can be operated using one-hand which is convenient.
Even at low speeds though, the motor is quite powerful. On more than one occasion, for example when using the whisk attachment to beat eggs and whip heavy cream, some of the contents spattered out of the bowl as soon as the whisk started spinning since there’s no gradual ramp up in speed. This also happened when I pureed chunks of cooked, whole pumpkin using the blender attachment directly in a hot pot of spiced pumpkin soup. Therefore, I recommend using a fairly tall and deep vessel with the whisk and starting with and keeping the mixing blade submerged when pureeing foods in liquid to reduce spillover and spatter. The blender blade was able to quickly shred cooked chicken breast finely, for use in chicken salad, without making much of a mess.
I really liked using the chopping cup for preparing small quantities of foods rather than lugging out my full-size food processor. The chopper on low speed is perfect for making a single-serving bowl of guacamole and chutneys with just a few pulses; on high speed, it churned a handful of toasted almonds into deliciously creamy and smooth almond butter in a matter of minutes. The chopper container is made of clear plastic so you can see the contents while chopping, and you can stop the blades as soon as your food reaches the desired consistency. The base of the cup is also rubberized and doesn’t slide about your countertop if you put a little downward pressure on the wand when blending.
Overall, I’m happy to add this versatile cooking tool to my kitchen, though I do wish there was a clearer distinction between the high and low speeds, since the low speed, it seems to me, is still a bit overpowered.

The GE Immersion 2 –Speed Handheld Blender comes with 4 pieces. You have the blender main body, immersion wand, whisk, chopper and manual. Each attachment connects securely by sliding it into the main body and the twisting it clockwise until it locks. The chopper is really 3 pieces with the metal blade assembly, chopper/grinder cover, and prep bowl. There is a low and high speed. I have many large and small GE appliances. GE has always represented quality to me.
I tried all three attachments. Here is my experience:
- Whisk: I tried this attachment to prepare some scrambled eggs. I used the low setting and almost overflowed the bowl. You need a very tall bowl if you want to use the whisk attachment. Start on low for sure. For this use, I wish there was a slower setting to use. Cleaning this was a snap.
- Blending wand: I finished off my eggs with this attachment as the whisk was too fast for me. You can use this to blend almost anything. It works perfectly. Again, I found the low setting to be pretty fast. High is really fast! I would recommend always starting on low. Once it is partially blended, you can move on to high setting. Yummy smooth blended scrambled eggs. Cleaning this was a snap.
- Chopper: I used this the most as it is my favorite. I used it for guacamole, pico de gyo, avocado toast blend and some other items. You just drop what you want into the prep bowl and press the low button. I always started on low and then moved on to high if necessary. I put the contents into another serving bowl. You clean each of the three pieces separately. Cleaning this was a snap.
I recommend this GE 2-speed immersion blender. This is a versatile high quality kitchen tool. I rate this immersion blender 4 out of 5 stars as the speed selection was a little fast for me. The build quality is top notch. The cleaning of the accessories is easy as pie. If you are in need of one of these kitchen appliances, you will not be disappointed.

Never thought of using an Immersion blender, but this has been really great to use. It’s small so it doesn’t take up a ton of space, but is pretty powerful to handle most tasks. I especially enjoy the bowl attachment to keep things contained and mess freeish.
The overall build quality seems up to par for GE, has a nice non slip grip area near the top where the buttons are located and pretty comfortable to handle. Has a nice weight to it so it feels sturdy.

I've been testing this out for about a week now. I'm not much of a cook and never used a handheld blender before, but after a few messy mishaps, I got a hang of it and it sped up my prep time.
This handheld comes with three attachment options: a whisk, food processor, and blender. I tried the whisk first while mixing up batter and made a little bit of a mess. I learned you need to use a deeper bowl and start slow. :) After cleaning up all the powdered batter that got all over the counter, I tried again and it worked much better.
The food processor is straight-forward to use. I used it to make some blended salsa. Add the vegetables and let it run for 30 seconds or until you find the consistency you want. Very easy to use and clean up was easy as everything is dishwasher safe.
Lastly, I used the hand blender on a cake mix. Just be careful to use the deep bowl and get the mix started with the liquid first so that you don't have flour everywhere.
Overall, I would recommend this hand blender.

I never realized how weak my cheep immersion blender was until I got this one. This thing is POWERFUL! The first evening I used the whisk function and the food processor. I was making dumplings for the first time in a while. I had forgotten that the dough needed to be mixed with a mixer but I had already poured all the ingredients into a glass bowl. I decided to give the whisk a try- not having high expectations as the dough mixture is super thick. To my surprise it mixed it like it was nothing!!! I also used the chopper to cut up an onion. It worked very well. I have attached photos of how the chopper worked making crust for my cheesecake as well. I filled it with vanilla wafers and after about 5 seconds they were a nice powdered crumb.
The immersion blender was very powerful and worked very well also. The low function on this blender is equivalent to the high function on my other blender.
The only drawback I found is that for some applications low is still far too high, especially with the whisk, there is no ramp up so it needs to be used in a tall container or else there is splatter everywhere.
All in all this is my new favorite kitchen gadget. The versatility of all of the functions saves tons of space in the kitchen.
