This was the best choice I have made in my home networking gear. Provides continuous connection, zero buffering and rock solid performance on both floors of my home. Set up was a breeze and it has performed flawlessly for nearly a year.

Very easy to set up and provided coverage all through the house at speeds of no lower than 400 Mb/s. It literally took me 15 minutes for all three stations.

The set up is a little tedious but once done it’s worth it, it works great. My house is 3500 ft.² but it’s long it’s not stacked on top of each other and concrete walls so I purchased this and it made a huge difference, I run about 63 to 72 devices at a time, the mesh handles it with no problems.

I had an older Netgear Nighthawk from my old apartment. While that worked, I was only getting about 400 in one room and 100 upstairs. Decided to run this setup wired, since I was already running cable upstairs. I dropped a point in the front of house, and one upstairs and it's amazing. I'm about 800 upstairs and in front and 900 where the main is setup.
If you can wire them directly or in my case using a couple of unmanaged switches at the main and at the end you'll be very happy. I wire devices that aren't portable, like TVs and desktops, and keep the wireless for things like phones, tablets, and smart home devices.
Definitely happy with purchase, and would recommend, unless you require advanced settings. The only problem that I had was the single SSID, since some devices really couldn't connect since they are a bit older and I ended up just using the old modem and using the 2.4 band off that.

So 6 months ago I bought a new expensive supposedly top of the line wireless router because I was tired of renting one from the cable company and ever since setting up this new router I’ve had nothing but connectivity issues. Half the time my google homes would not connect, my cameras wouldn’t work, or my smart lights wouldn’t come on. It was very annoying. Purchased these and placed them around my house and everything has been working seamlessly wish I did it sooner. Set up was super easy even my technological challenged mom could do it! Just get them!

I added this fourth unit to a three-unit set that replaced an older, slower Google Mesh system. The per cost of an incremental unit is very high, but my modest 2200 square foot house (which theoretically should require only one unit, not four) apparently presents some challenges, and my fancy new 4K OLED Samsung TV was stuttering frequently. This unit seems to have mitigated the problem, and the SpeedTest numbers are good. Setup is fairly easy but not intuitive, and the small, faint QR code is almost impossible to scan.

Better Than Anticipated

I replaced my old Google Wifi with the Pro 6e. The setup was seamless. The performance boost was better than anticipated over the old system, and the system components are connected over ethernet. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great system! Purchased to replace an older Eero system and these work great. Covers our 2,500 sq ft house with ease. I will say these do better when each beacon has its own dedicated Ethernet connection, but they still work great if you just plug straight into your modem.
We have 1Gbps up and down and this system lets me download or upload anything at full speed anywhere in my house.

This mesh router set up just works. Easy set up using Google home app on your phone. And options are clear and easy to use. Using an actual lan wire ensure the other node has full bandwidth. Plus capability to buy more nodes is a plus.

Incredible upgrade to my previous generation of Google Nest router and extension. I was able to quickly, and easily, connect all three routers. One was more than 100 feet away, connected by ethernet cable in the detached garage. I have coverage all over the house and all the way to the garage with the same Wi-fi signal. And... it is WAY faster. I was getting maybe 70-90 download speeds before and now see anywhere from 500-750!

The units were a bit heavier than they look but not too bad. It was an easy basic setup. I have a 3 level home including basement. I placed 1 on the top floor and 1 in the middle section and the speeds are consistant on every level of my home. All of the outdoor cameras have no issues connecting to the wifi and the video quality was a bit better as well. My only issue was the 2nd unit, not connected to the modem, went out 2 seperate times needimg a restart. Since then it hasnt done it again. Maybe the crash report sent the issue to google and fixed with an update. I'll never know. I would buy again but get on sale if possible.

Easy Mesh System to Set Up

After previous router extender purchases that were difficult to set up with minor improvement, Google made these easy, and my pair found each other even at opposite ends of the house. Perhaps my situation worked because I have wired ethernet from my router to each of these, which as a pair, provide a new wifi mesh address, stronger signal than my router. I didn't have to readdress any of my current wifi devices, but now my phone gets wifi at a larger range. As long as the little white light is steady on the front, they are working fine. However a couple of times I find a flashing light, which means a disconnect, but a power unplug/replug resets it. Overall very pleased, I only wish these were available in black.

I really like the results of changing to the google nest pro WiFi mesh. It has really worked great and we have unbelievable speeds. We even have strong speeds out by our pool.

I love the ease of use of Google Wifi. I'm happy with the speeds these can provide on WiFi 6 and device management is very easy in the home app. My only issue is with the strength of the mesh system. I occasionally have low mesh strength but my devices are only ~35 feet away on a single story. This is within the 2-3 rooms away recommend but I don't buy that this would cover a 2200 sqft 2 story home.
Hey there, Jonah. Thank you for choosing Nest Wifi Pro. We're delighted to hear that you're having an awesome time when it comes to managing the devices using the Google Home app. Your feedback on the signal strength is appreciated and we would like to help improve on that. Congestion issues may be affected by various factors, including Wi-Fi interference and physical barriers, which can limit the range of your internet. We recommend placing your device within a line of sight to improve signal reception. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, it's advisable not to place a mesh router in that exact spot. Instead, position it halfway in that direction. Placing it in an elevated position, such as on a shelf, can also help. For more detailed information, please refer to this help guide: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7182840

Extremely easy installation. Definitely expanded wifi in one of part of the house, but I'm struggling to the same performance in my garage. I don't think it's the router's fault though, I'll just have to play with the positioning. There may be better options around, but this was a simple, solid purchase and it's pretty much fixed my problem as advertised.

Our new internet provider installed a ”state of the art” system that in reality could not push an internet signal from one end of the house to the other. We purchased the Nest system to boost the WiFi on the recommendation of the sales person. It works as advertised and so easy to set up. Each router automatically connects to the WiFi and since we already had Google cameras, they also connected right up. It is pricey but clearly gets the job done. No drops and a strong WiFi even outside the house.
