Did a much better job than either a mop and bucket or steam mop that I tried. It's light, not too loud (don't use it while the baby's sleeping, though) and does a great job with very little effort. I used it on some old linoleum and you could clearly see the line between clean and dirty while I was using it. It left the floor nearly dry after the regular wash step, so no need for the dry option (uneven surfaces like tile might be different, can't say as I don't have any). Overall very happy!

This cleaner is amazing. It works well on my hardwood and tiled floors. I like the drying feature on it. Pretty lightweight too.

I have terrazzo floors that are not shiny. I use this to keep them clean. Its much easier than a mop. The vacuum is not my favorite part but I didn`t purchase it to vacuum. Make sure after you vacuum you empty the canister. If you wet clean after, the dirt turns to mud inside. I use it for small spills as well. I love it for cleaning the floors. The drying part is ok but the floors seems to dry quickly . My toilet overflowed and I even used the drying suction to mop up the water.

I've used my Hoover - Floormate about a dozen times now. I use it to clean up after my dogs who track in mud and water year round. It has done a great job at cleaning the floors surface and the vacuum feature is great for picking up Hair and debre before I clean with the brushes. When using the Dry portion it does not seem to do much other then push the water around more. I'm not sure the purpose of these feature or if it was not designed to suck up the water but push it around to distribute the water but it doesn't dry anything. Also made the mistake of leaving on my Hardwood floor in the corner after use the first time and damaging the floor, oops.

Living in the desert there is so much dust and dirt. This Hoover works amazing on tile to clean and pick up dirty water. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I wish the water tank was bigger so I didn't have to refill 4 times to clean my downstairs. On the other hand, my floors haven't been cleaner and it is easy to use, so I can live with refilling multiple times.

This product works well on hardwood floors. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that you have to be patient with this machine. Patience is the key, so if you are in a rush to clean things with a liquid, then you are better off doing it manually with a cloth or something like that. The vacuum could be better, and you do have to keep all the parts clean after your daily use; keep this in mind too. Overall, it works ... to a good extent; so for that price, not bad.

Absolutely loved my last one (it died after 5 years of use), and just recently replaced it. I have almost all hard surfaces to clean and several pets so I'd been looking for a solid floor cleaner. This is very reliable and a fantastic home-use workhorse. Floors clean and dry in an instant.

We just tiled the whole house and wanted a vacuum that would work good on the tile. The vacuums I have tend to throw larger particles behind. We live in a sandy area and of course track it in. The Hoover Floor Mate picks everything up. I love the ease of changing to the different cycles. Bought the cleaning fluid and like it a lot, smells fresh. Happy with the choice we made.

Works great on all surfaces. Pets messes are a breeze, even cleans between the grout on tile. Should have bought two because this item was on clearance at my local best but and I can only assume they won't be making it anymore? Excellent value!!!

Would recommend, great timesaver to traditional mops/buckets. Cleans well, easy assembly. Saw complaints about the vacuum waste getting wet. Can avoid this if you empty out the waste before using the scrub feature, so not an issue really.Did a nice job, good value.

Good price, user friendly to assemble, easy clean up. not to heavy to carry, glides easily. so far I love it. Beats getting on my hands and knees to scrub the floor when this machine does it.

This product does it all. It vacuums the floor, soft scrubs the floor and then suctions the excess water. You never have to touch the dirty water! The cleaners Hoover supplies aren't the cheapest, but they do have a pleasant smell without being overpowering. Note that the suction process does not leave the floor bone dry; it simply gets the excess so that it's much easier to air dry. If you have large area of your home with hard surface floors, you may have to refill a couple of times.

Had a Floormate for 7 years finally gave out so went and bought another one, They have made them lighter and it cleans great. Live in the desert, lots of sand and it gets it all. Recommended it to my daughter and she bought one and loves it too.

I dislike that it is pretty loud, so at night when people are sleeping I cannot use it...then I have to break out the broom. But, it works really well, and I like that I don't have to kill my back over twice between using a broom and mop.

My workmate is everything the system says it is. It picks up the dirt that is in the crevices of the tiles. I have all tile floors in Florida and I love it. No more scrubbing.

Might give it5 stars but haven't had it very long. Vaccumes and cleans so easily. Sucks up the dirty water leaving my floors feeling very clean. Also it takes up most of the excess water so the floors finish drying very quickly

A very good & versatile product. This scrubber does a good job & is easy to use & clean-up when you're finished.

Bought the scrubber to use at a rental house I bought that had 20 plus years of grime on a tile floor. I sprayed floor cleaner on the floor with a pump up sprayer instead of using recommended detergent because I had heavy duty cleaning. This machine did the job and saved me from getting on my hands and knees. I brought home and used on my own floors. Wow I had no idea they were that dirty. If u want a floor scrubbed but don't want to get on your hands and knees this is the machine for you.

This is our second or third Hoover Floormate. We continue to buy them because they are easy to use and do a good job cleaning our tile floors. It's so nice being able to suck up most of the water when you're done and it's less messy and time consuming than a string mop and bucket.

Not sure if its just me, but since I vacuum more often than use the washer I feel like the dirty water going back in the same spot as the dirt is collected is too messy??? Mixing the dry and wet in the same part seems like it might cause clogging problems down the road. Yes, they are both dirty and you get rid of it/throw it out .. But to me it just seems unusually messy. That being said, I get lots of compliments after I scrub the hardwood floors about how clean they look!
