This laptop does it all! Great for the price, and doesnt feel cheap. Made with good build materials, and a nice feel when in tablet mode. Battery life exceeds expectations, and the HP cool sense keeps it nice and cool when under performance. HP to me is one of the best laptop makers, and they last a long time. Does get smudges from the touch screen, so would recommend some cleaning wipes (make sure they’re for electronics and screens). But other then that its perfect!

Mid weight, fast, large amounts of storage, folds backwards to work as a tablet, it has the slide proof rubber on the back, Cortana understands my voice commands, Mine doesn’t have the backlight on the keyboard, which is okay. I do recommend this computer Great buy for the buck.

Buyer Beware of HP Products -

The left hinge on our HP Envy 360 (15 inch touch screen) failed. It failed upon opening the notebook and small pieces could be seen falling out of the hinge area, when attempting to close the laptop the screen cracks/shatters exposing the inner electronics of the screen. The PC was purchased on 12-Feb-2018. I am concerned that this issue is common for the HP notebooks and what could have happened if my children had been using the PC while the failure occurred and want to make sure other consumers are aware. Based on a quick google search and a search of HP\'s community page, this issue appears to be a common failure mode for HP Envy notebooks which indicates a design flaw. This notebook is not used that often (less than once a month) in the household, it has never been dropped or had any impact damage to cause this type of flaw. HP was contacted and failed to provide any support to correct this known design flaw.

Good Laptop but has Third Class, Worst Quality Hinges. Hinges Broke & Split the screen. I will not recommend buying HP ENVY 360 models at all. The laptop is working fine but hinges cause trouble while closing & opening causing the screen to split more from the metal body.

This laptop fit my needs almost perfectly. My only complaint would have been that the speakers weren't that loud at maximum volume. I had troubles with the volume when playing a training video in the office of a factory. Additionally, the rubber grips on the bottom of the laptop have all but fallen completely off. The hard drive crashed on me almost exactly 8 months in. Thankfully I store most things remotely. Now just getting an error that a hard drive can not be found.

I love my new laptop! It's very thin & lightweight but with 12G of memory & 1T of hard drive space it's extremely powerful. Additionally I love the touchscreen capability that allows me to fold the screen all the way back & use it as a tablet. Also the Bang & Olufsen sound setup is excellent. All in all it's a perfect device for my purposes.

I needed my laptop for business and since I am not a "gamer" I didn't need intense graphics. The salesman recommended this one and it was right in my budget. Couldn't be happier. Thin, sleek, fast and works like a charm. I added all the programs I needed for work. They run smooth and fast. Battery holds plenty so I can work anywhere.

This is my first laptop with a touchscreen. It is also the first laptop I have used with Windows 10 on it. I have had great experiences so far with both. The touchscreen is very handy and I now find myself reaching out to touch my work laptop screen before realizing it isn't a touchscreen. It took a while for the facial recognition login mechanism to work reliably but now it works like a charm with the exception of when I am not on a trusted network. Then I have to use my password. So, don't forget your password (or PIN which is sometimes used, instead). The speed of the laptop is more than adequate for my needs. I am not a gamer. I am more of a developer. I have several development environments installed and use them regularly and they are all snappy with fast build times. The 1TB disk is a big plus for me since I have many projects I work on. The only drawback is not having built-in DVD software. I purchased a separate DVD drive (since this doesn't come with one). They are inexpensive so it isn't a big deal. However, finding the best software to view DVDs with is problematic. I went through several different players before finding one that I liked. I finally settled on VLC Media Player. It works well and is *much* better than the open-source version of Windows Media Player.

I am replacing a Lenovo laptop I purchased two years ago. I am happy to return to an HP product. The laptop is easy to use and I love the touch screen/Ipad option. The gentleman I worked with explained the features of this unit verse several other which made my purchase decision easy.

This will be my daughter's freshman year in college and she needed a new laptop. Our Best Buy employee showed us the HP Envy and this was able to do what she needed, and then some. She likes the touch screen and the battery life. Having 12GB memory and the 1TB hard drive was more than enough for her needs in school. We were able to download the student Microsoft Office Suites and all is running great.

This is our second laptop from HP of that same model. It has decent speed for what we do with it, more than enough HD space, and the 12GB RAM help keep the performance up when multiple applications are used. I really like the backlit keyboard and the touchscreen. It is not a gaming computer, but can keep up with online games as long as your internet connection is truly high speed.

As an HP fan, I had no trouble researching to find the best, optimum new laptop as my old one wore out. My criteria included faster speed, more memory, and more Hard Drive. I got them all with this + at Christmas time it was $200 discounted. The images and sound are sharp, crisp, clear. They keys have a finer feel to them. The touch screen is great. I recommend this to anyone wanting a laptop under $1000.

Alto I just gave it a 3 because it is a fast responsive machine there are some issues I have with it. To begin with the on and off button on the side is in a bad location and somewhat difficult to activate, it would be nicer to be on the keyboard. It also tends to loose Bluetooth functions when in sleep mode or hibernation, needs to be turned off and back on to regain the connection. Also when turned off and back on I then lost the Wi-Fi connection and had to restart it to get it back. I have 16 gigs of memory but it still had trouble with video/photo editing after a hour or so use. .It does however have a sharp picture for movie viewing and the sound is nothing out of the ordinary but adequate. The keyboard keys are a nice bouncy touch. The touch screen is very responsive but again after coming out of hibernation I had to re-start the machine to get it back. This is my first lap-top so I'm not sure if these symptoms are typical of lap-tops in general. I like my old tower for performance better but I can not carry it with me and for the price I paid for this I am hoping it will hold up for a long time to come. Its beautifully put together and had a good weight to it and has plenty of space to put more than what I'll need for the next 10 years on it. The battery life doesn't come close to what is advertised but it does hold up for 4-6 hours on a heavy to moderate use and that make me happy.

Always a little hesitant setting up a new PC. My last was purchased six years ago and I was concerned about changes in technology. No worry. It practically set up itself. Works well with my current peripherals and wifi setup. Very pleased so far and have had no problems.

Got this on a Cyber week deal. Compared it to other laptops that had the same specs and they were hundreds more. Wife is loving it. Has meet all expectations. If I had a complaint it would be how you have to pay off the Rewards Card. Put this on the card and then wanted to pay it off. Come to find out you can't use a debit or credit card. The ONLY option is entering your checking account info and that remains on file. Not doing that, so thought going to the local store would allow me to pay it off. Shocked is what I got. Cant even use the debit card in the store! They told me cash only and they have an ATM in the store. WHAT! I had to call Best Buy to pay with debit over the phone. What a hassle that was as well. Needless to say I do not see myself using the card any longer...may even close the account I was so upset, don't understand all the restrictions.

Perfect 2 in 1 for young and older family members

This was definitely one of my best purchases ever. It is extremely user friendly and perfect for any age. The price is very reasonable and the added bonuses I got with it are great. It’s so easy to navigate and I love the HP Envy for many reasons starting with the touchscreen, along with the size and my daughter can easily put it in her backpack and the fact that it’s a 2 in 1 is really great for us. It’s just so perfect for anyone and I mean that literally. From young children to 80 year olds have no problem with it at all and that’s exactly what I was looking for. I had initially gotten it for my daughter mostly for her school projects and such, but also for my aunt who is 80, in hopes that we could get her on a little bit and now she loves it. We can’t get her off of it lol. She was afraid to even touch it at first and within the first 20 mins of her playing with it, I honestly couldn’t believe how easily she picked it up and hasn’t stopped since. I really had a hard time choosing a laptop, especially not knowing much about the 2 in 1 option and heard a lot of different things about them so I wasn’t so sure, but I’m so glad I got it now. I’ve never even used one before, but this is an excellent feature to have and is so much better to be able to use it as a tablet or laptop. The fact that an 80 yo could and would use it either way so easily, truly blows my mind lol. I had no idea that so many members of my family would take to it at all. I was hoping it was good for my daughter for class and my aunt to keep her mind sharp and to have fun with and this definitely did a lot more than even the reasons I initially bought it. I know I made the right decision with this HP Envy. Of course as always my salespeople were amazing and we must have looked at every single one for a week, before deciding on this one in particular. It’s very easy to use and great for any age as my grandson also uses it all the time when he’s here and he’s 6. I forgot to mention it’s great to watch movies on as well. It’s very easy to fold down or stand up while watching your shows and the size makes it easy for others to watch as well. I actually got on the site today to order another one and figured I’d give my review in hopes that it will help others struggling to choose a laptop (especially a 2 in 1) that works for an entire family, regardless of age. You definitely get more than your money’s worth. I would absolutely recommend this laptop to anyone. It is everything you need for the entire family if you are looking for something that is easy to use and to understand, you just may need to get more than one, even if everyone else has their own already lol. Totally love it and I’m glad I purchased it. I bought this before Xmas as a gift and it’s been great from day one.
