Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent print quality, and compact size of the OfficeJet 250 Mobile Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer. Many appreciate its wireless capabilities and the inclusion of a scanner. While some find the printer expensive, positive feedback outweighs negative comments on other features. The printer's portability and reliable performance are also frequently highlighted.

Good Printer, Lousy Customer Service and Warranty

We have purchased three of these. They are very compact (good for a small dorm space), portable, and print well. They also last a long time and are sturdy units that can take abuse. Even better, you do not need to sign up for HP's automatic ink program.
However, I have to remove two stars because one of the printers we just purchased has a faulty battery. (We even sent pictures of the faulty battery notice on the computer screen that didn't change regardless of reboots, factory resets, and repeated reinstallations.) Unfortunately, getting HP to simply send a new battery has become a nightmare because we are juggling the schedules of a college student with their impossible phone tree that doesn't allow a customer to contact support without an HP specific account, even when there is an affiliated case number. (The warranty is under the purchaser's name, not the printer user's name.)
We also contacted Geek Squad, because we have coverage, and that is also proving to be extremely difficult due to the location of the printer (college).
This printer should have been fully functional upon arrival. The battery is faulty (minus one star). We have purchased 3 of these rather expensive units, so we know when it works and when it doesn't. HP should simply send a new battery, but we are getting the run around. Luckily, the printer works when plugged in, but I am highly disappointed in HP and in the ability to get through to a human being for help on something that should be a simple matter with new product that is under warranty (minus the second star).

I'm a trucker and I use this printer/scanner on the road. First the good: It is a well made printer and so far it has handled the shaking and bouncing of being in a Big Rig, prints quickly and quietly. Easy to connect to my mobile hot spot and finds my laptop and cell phone with no issues. The not so good: Battery life is just ok and the power cord that's included is a bit on the short side. Print quality is also just ok. The printer is pricey an missing(in my opinion) a slide out paper guide on the output side(at bottom of printer). The scanning if good but the paper feeder can be finicky. So far the printer has performed well trouble free. I will update this post if the printer fails the Big Rig bounce test long term.

Definitely a 5 star on this printer, it is light weight, compact and you can take it anywhere; prints fast and gets the job done; one of the best things that I love about this printer is that I don't have to keep it plugged in, which is convenient when you are on the go; I can print in the car, on the train, and even on the plan; moreover, when I say print, I don't mean wifi, this printer has a direct connect which gives you the ability to directly connect and print; this would be great for those in college

Set-up was pretty straightforward. Copies and scans were sharp and crisp. Hard to justify the price tag, but you won't find another printer with this much functionality in such a compact size.

This printer can literally be picked up and taken with you anywhere. The little touch screen pops up and adds to the already sleekness of the printer. It takes up barely any space on my desk. The printer does everything including scanning, copying, e-mail, etc. The only negatives I would say are the amount of pages you can have loaded at a time (only about 20 or 25 I think), so printing large documents forces you to constantly reload. It is also of course bit pricey for a printer. Otherwise, I am beyond happy.

We bought this printer to take on vacation with us so that we could keep up with emails and print out anything necessary. The printer was easy to install, easy to use, and connected easily to our daughter's wifi network. It was also easy to pack along with my laptop. It prints nicely, and will even duplex manually. It scans in black and white. For a small printer, it packs a lot into a small package and I'm glad we bought it!

This little all-in-one is great! It is easy to set up, and that’s a compliment from an old woman who is convinced technology is the devil. It sits on my desk, and the kids print their schoolwork from anywhere in the house, wirelessly, without a hitch. The print quality is good, it’s pretty quiet- and it has a super quiet mode if you have teenagers who like to print out a 10 page report at midnight.
Scanning is simple, printing is easy, and copying is effortless. However, it would be nice if you have the option to plug it directly to the computer or laptop on those days the WiFi’s acting up.

Set up was a breeze. It's slightly bigger than I anticipated but still manageable to throw into a bag and go. The app that is linked to the device is available pretty much everywhere so connection is a breeze, including my Windows laptop. Alternatively, I can also print directly from whatever page I'm on so having multiple options to print is nice. It prints fairly quickly and the print job rivals the huge printer at the office. Overall, one of the best purchases I made for my home office.

Although I wish it was just a little smaller, it prints fast, in color with exceptional quality. At first I thought the battery that came with it would be dead weight but I have found myself several times printing a doc in the airport on battery connected to my laptop running in battery. The scanner had been useful quite often too.

It is a workhorse printer as it can print multiple pages at one time. It is convenient for transporting to and from meetings. It produces a quality printed page. Well worth the full price or discounted amount. It is not of a flimsy construction but a good strong construction. Its multiple usage such as printing and copying makes it an extremely necessary piece of equipment for any business big or small.

WORTH THE PRICE.
This is a very solid portable machine with many functions. Heavy duty case. Very portable and lightweight. It comes in a box that has handles to carry very easily. Lightweight. Out of the office, has full capabilities: printing, scanning and copying.
It has perfect alignment of my billing forms for insurance without needing manual alignment.
Has a very good interface HP program where u can find out immediate trouble shooting through HP especially regarding bluetooth versus internet connections.
I have had another portable printer years ago. Printer only. Does not compete with this machine on so many levels. Needless say stopped using that portable printer. It broke in less than 2 years. It is no wonder they do not make that printer anymore.

This printer is worth every penny. It is light weight, simple to use, simple to pair, has a great battery life and it is smart. HP made a great product that is simple to use. Super fast and I love printing from my iPhone while in my car.
