The fact that this keyboard is fully wireless with rgb and a metal casing for the price that it is well it's pretty impressive. Solid build and the mechanics feel amazing the keyboard noise is easy on the ears. All around well worth the money!

Great introduction to Custom and HE Keyboards

I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks, mainly for gaming and general typing. I upgraded from a Keychron K6, love Keychron and was exited to use a HE keyboard. The build quality is great, metal sides and a hard plastic back panel, definitely better than an all plastic board, with no flex at all. Been using it for several hours and not needing to charge it once, the sleep mode will activate in a few minutes of inactivity and wakes back up with a single key press. The keychron software is great for customizability, but is definitely not beginner friendly. This has the best out of the box sound I have ever heard, not needing any modding to get that "THOCK" sound. being a HE keyboard opens up the customizability, being able to customize each key.
Pros:
-Build quality
-Battery Life
-Sound
-Key Customizability
-Wireless connection
Cons:
-Software not great for beginners
-No per key RBG control only presets

Smooth Like Butter

Smooth like butter. Really easy to connect wirelessly to my Mac Air (M4). It comes with a USB to USB-C to connect but any USB-C to USB-C cable will work if you want to have it wired to the computer. It’s compact enough for a backpack and I don’t feel like it’s flimsy or going to break. I’ve been using it pretty much everyday since I’ve bought it and just turning it on, it’ll connect with Bluetooth to the computer. I don’t have to reconnect it eveytime. I know it’s a “gaming” keyboard but I bought it for business and it seems to be working really well so far. I did a lot of research before buying it and the reviews are mainly true. It’s easy to carry, easy to connect, and the switches are smoooooooth.

Currently the best sounding HE keyboards out there. Also having a online driver's without downloading any is really nice. Just a little downside though. Not all of the switches were proper lubed so you might hear pinging if you hit a key. I would 100% recommend this keyboard instead of the wooting he 60 or 80.

I really like this keyboard! It looks great and feels premium. Super smooth gaming, flawless software configuration, wireless capability, and all around solid keyboard. If you're interested in a 75% keyboard with all the features, the K2 HE is a great choice.

this is the best sounding mechanical kb i have. my only con is that the F keys aren't cascaded or tapered like other kb's. what i mean by that is that the number row and F-keys row are on the same level or height. if that makes sense. otherwise, it's a great kb!

HE keyboard that THOCKS

I consider myself a keyboard connoisseur and an expert in all things keyboards from custom creation, keys, caps, etc. if they make it I am researching it and testing it out. Currently at my home PC set up I have a Corsair K100 Air, Corsair K65 RGB Pro Wireless, Keychron K17 Pro, Nuphy K60 HE, an Logi MX Mechanical Mini, Logitech MS Pro, and quite a few other off brand or generic ones that I do reviews about and use for different scenarios I prefer them in. This keyboard is practically flawless, in my personal opinion. See my quick breakdown below:
Pros:
-First HE keyboard I have used that has a fantastic sound and typing experience. Truly THOCKS.
- Beautiful RGB
- Very high build quality and the aesthetics and layout are perfect
Cons: (if you would even consider them that?)
- side mounted cable and switches. The power cable and switches for changing the wireless/device set up are on the left side below the esc. key instead of on the back like most keyboards but it really doesnt bother me in the slightest, however I can see how some people would not prefer it, especially if you are left handed and use a mouse directly to the left of the keyboard, again, even still probalby not an issue for most anyone.
- and the BIGGEST FLAW I CANNOT IGNORE OR MAKE SENSE OF...there is an RGB key where a volume knob should and must be, this was a huge oversight from the marketing/research team for a brand new technological marvel of a keyboard. To make a brandnew keyboard in 2025 with a TKL layout and not have a volume knob just seems absolutely rudimentary and it makes me have to switch to a different device to turn down the volume with a knob. They want you to press the Fn key and then press F11 and F12 to control the volume, like some kind of CAVEMAN.
Thats all. Basically the perfect keyboard for almost anything where you dont need a number pad.

As someone who builds custom boards fairly regularly, I’ve been extremely impressed with the build quality on the K2 HE. Especially the sound. I put on some custom keycaps and found that even GMK and standard PBT keycaps didn’t sound nearly as thocky as the thick double-shot PBTs that came with the board. I’ve since reinstalled the factory ones and have been enjoying the board as is! If they came out with a southpaw version like the Q12 with HE switches, that would be my endgame board.

This keyboard is worth every penny. The keys feel great to press down and their sound is not too loud, which lets me use it in an office setting without feeling like I'm typing too loudly. It is compact and doesn't make my desk feel cluttered and the RGB lighting adds a fun touch to my work. It also works for gaming because there is no delay when pressing down the keys. Highly recommend!

Overall One of the Best Wireless Keyboards

The most mechanical sounding keyboard available. I have used most of the mainstream keyboards from Razer, Steelseries, Corsair, Wooting, Melgeek, Iqunix, etc. So far Keychron is the only keyboard that sounds like some of the higher end mechanical keyboards and has hall effect magnetic switches. It functions very well and having a web-based software is a great perk versus having to download and install proprietary software packages, ie Razer Synapse, Corsair ICUE, Asus Armory Crate, Steelseries GG, etc. Another huge benefit is that this is one of the very few WIRELESS HE keyboard on the market. This was my biggest complaint with the Wooting HE line-up. You spend almost 3x more for a wired keyboard albeit the software and keyboard are very good. However, having the wireless feature is a huge plus. Overall a very good keyboard and the compact design makes it easy to travel with.

Great HE Keyboard for the Price

This keyboard looks very basic, but I really have enjoyed it so far. It feels nice and heavy, which means it's got a good, quality, aluminum build. The switches sound very thocky, and you don't have to press down too hard to type. The RGBs are very smooth and pleasant to look at. For half the price of a Glorious keyboard, it does most of the same things.

So objectively this didnt change how well I type BUT it did make typing more enjoyable. The key presses feel both lighter and more accurate. On the gaming side, having a keyboard that can be setup to use analog presses instead of simply on/off allows more fine control over turning/walking/running. Think a controller thumbstick. The only "negative" I find is that the app to fine tune experience is a webapp without the option of locally storing it.

First experience with magnetic mechanical and its a keeper, solid construction, and great key feel. Settings are web based and work well, do have a weird bug where f7 is held on windows boot but might be a my end thing.

It is worth noting that I'm typing this on the keyboard, and I will find any excuse to type on it. It feels like butter. Like other reviews say, this keyboard THOCKS. It's a good entry level thocky keyboard. I could imagine that I will soon go down the rabbit hole to build the most buttery, beautifully thocky keyboard. If you're on the fence about this, I would say you should pull the trigger. My only gripe is that there isn't a convenient way to change the RGB, but I'm almost 30 and that doesn't mean much to me these days.

This keyboard is one of the best at its price. Sounds amazing out the box, feels great typing on, the features work well, and the software is quite easy to navigate. This is a great option for those looking for a hall effect keyboard for games that benefit off of rapid trigger, like Fortnite, Valorant, or Overwatch. Can't forget the quality of this keyboard is fantastic itself, it doesn't even feel like a $130 keyboard.

QMK compatible, HE Switches, and TKL design, if I could swap in a rotary knob in place of the RGB button it would be literally the perfect keyboard. 9/10, amazing feeling keys, and with QMK the sky is the limit as far as modifications and customizations go. But I happily replaced my bright yellow Q1 Pro, with this to dip my toes into the HE world, and compared to the other options, nothing is quite as good. Good job keychron, now where’s my K2 Pro with the knob?!
