Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high-quality keyboard, ease of use, and protective qualities of the CREATE Keyboard Case for Apple iPad Pro 9.7". Many appreciate its convenient features, such as the pencil holder and the fact that it doesn't negatively impact battery life. While some found it added weight or had occasional connection issues, the positive feedback on the keyboard and overall functionality outweighs these concerns for most users. A few users mentioned challenges with charging while the iPad was in the case.

I had bought a key board that wouldn’t connect. I had another key board ( Targus) that I had worn out. Best Buy didn’t sell targus anymore. The customer service girl at Best Buy helped me choose this one. I like the ease of connecting and the keys lighting up. It’s the best one!!!

The cover fits on easily. It's a little thicker than the apple cover, but provides much better coverage/protection. Buttons work well and it's fairly easy to snap the iPad in and out. All in all I'm very happy with this product.

I have been using the Logitech Creat keyboard with my iPad Pro for about a month and I love it! I saw the Apple commercial with the girl going all over town and always having a keyboard with her, but that was Apple’s version. The Logitech is also easy to use, has Special Shortcuts that the Apple one don’t have, backlit keys. I recommend this product.

This Keyboard is a real Time Saver. I use my iPad in my business and it’s great to have the Keyboard with me at all times. Also never having to worry about forgetting to charge the unit by the Smart Connector is a great feature.

4 1/2 stars protection and platform. The keyboard lights up when you use it. Cover case and keyboard in one. Seems to give good protection. Would have given it 5 stars but is it doesn't have a place to put the apple pen like the smaller iPad Pro keyboard!!

The keyboard on this is really nice for typing and I really enjoyed the convenience of always having it as part of the case. Unfortunately, the case has a few thin pieces of cheap plastic that broke within a few months. My iPad now slips out of the case very easily. Not great for protection. I've had to move on to a different case. It's too bad they undermined a great product with such a little design flaw.

Concerns re: pen holder & closing of case

I like the material of case & keyboard. I do however have concerns about how the Logitech Keyboard & iPad Pen holder - closes when not in use. The pen seemingly rest upon the edge of my iPad Pro. Concern is whether or not pen or iPad could become damage. Have discussed concern with associates within Best Buy to which they had similar concerns. Feedback from Logitech stating it's not a flaw in design would be comforting.

I liked the keyboard and holder for Apple Pencil; however, after a week of light use I opened it up and the iPad was slipping out because a piece of the plastics molding that holds iPad in place was broken off.

◦Very functional keyboard. Response feels at least as good a the Apple Keyboard cover and the 2016 and 2015 versions of the MacBook Pro. ◦Dedicated keyboard buttons for volume, brightness, audio controls, etc. all nice. Also real Apple CMD buttons which has allowed the common key combos I've tried to work as expected on any Apple keyboard-endowed device (e.g., CMD-C, CMD-V) ◦Backlight is super useful ◦No need for extra charger plus and seems to draw very little from the iPad's power supply ◦Pencil holder slot is great/secure, but pencil also rests at top of keyboard when you need both hands to type and the magnetic latch that holds the iPad docked also grabs the Pencil - did not expect this. ◦Case doesn't seem to affect the speakers or access to buttons (in fact, volume button access is arguably better with the case because the case's oversized buttons are bigger and clearly indicate + and -. ◦Only downsides I've noticed: •Obviously makes the iPad Pro much, much thicker to carry. That also gives it substantial protection. •There is no comfortable way to fold the keyboard back on itself to use the iPad in a 'traditional' tablet sense; I.e., holding it in one hand using fingers or Pencil in the other. I find I need to pop the iPad out of the case if I want to do that. •Occasionally I don't get a key stroke to register. It may be worth noting I haven't noticed it happen in any Apple app, but it has happened maybe 4 times in 20 hours of use on third party apps. It's also possible it happened because I was using it on my lap instead of a solid surface and the connection to the iPad might have been disrupted. I will keep an eye on it.

I read the reviews and some people were not happy as with any product, so I was a bit apprehensive.. I found this case/keyboard to be everything I expected and more. First of all I had looked at a lot of Bluetooth keyboards that were more expensive. This one linked into the iPad directly so it does not need batteries to change or linking problems with Bluetooth. Another plus is that this one looks and feels great. It worked immediately when I put my iPad into it. I have the 2016 iPad PRO model (9.7 inch) and it fits perfectly. Right down to the camera/flash and speaker holes. I love the way this one links into the iPad and has a lighted keyboard. To me those features are a great plus. It also turns off automatically when you shut the case up and back on when I open it up again. I have used it for two days and there does not seem to be any significant loss of battery life on the iPad. The keypad is a great size and it has a good feel. The layout and the touch is very good. Some had said a symbol or two were in a different location but I do not notice any problems with the touch typing I am doing right now. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I tell all my friends. The case feels solid an I feel my iPad is secure. The texture of the case gives a good grip and feel and the blue color is elegant. The only thing I noticed that might be a negative is that the arrow keys in the lower right are not all lit up. The “arrow right” key does not seem to be illuminated. It is not a problem for me as the other three keys are lit and they outline the right key so it is easy to hit. I have tried to find other things that did not function as expected but I cannot find anything. I do not think I need a screen protector as the case closes in such a way that the screen is protected. I hope you enjoy this case/keyboard as much as I do.

This was my second keyboard option for my ipad pro. The first was of course the smart keyboard. This one was iffy to me but I am instantly in love. The keys are more spacious . They light up, and they have great travel to them. The pencil holder is the biggest relief to me. It fits perfect and secure . The case is more bulky than the smart keyboard cover but it also offers much more protection. Its a much better alternative if youre okay with not having apple accessories.highly recommend this especially to remedy any typing needs. However one down fall is that portrait mode is not as comfortable or natural to use in this case. not a huge deal since I find myself using it in landscape the majority of the time anyways.

This has now been attached to my iPad for over 2 years, and I can’t say enough good things about it. It has protected my iPad from short bumps and falls. It has worked flawlessly when I type work documents. The pencil is positioned just right and is unobtrusive. At first, I was hesitant to buy it, and leery of its value due to the price, but it has paid for itself in convenience and ease of use.

I purchased the Apple Smart Keyboard but wasn't truly happy with it. Saw this version for the 12.9" Pro and saw how excellent it was, so I was excited when this version came out. It's much better than the Apple version. It has a great keyboard and the backlight is fantastic plus the case covers the entire iPad. I got tired of Apple's version coming off of the iPad continuously. It took me a while to find the right case that would hold the pencil too. This case does it all and all for cheaper than just the Smart keyboard from Apple.

Great Keyboard for iPad Pro 9.7

This is a really good keyboard short of a really minor shorcoming. It is hardly enough to really mention, but might be helpful for folks that buy this keyboard. It takes a few seconds to really connect before you can use it once it is physically connected to the iPad’s smart connector. The keys have a great feel and there are several options to the keyboard that are very useful. For one, the keyboard is backlit and can be dimmed or turned off. This is nice as with the screen lit up you do not really need the keys always lit.

I touch type. So the regular ipad presented many problems. With this keyboard I am able to type in a more accurate manner. The throw of the keys is quite nice. good feedback. and the board does not feel too small either. The keyboard does add some weight, but the functionality that is added sure makes up for it. And yes, I can type with the keyboard on my lap, unsuopported. Very nice. The berry color is more on the hot pink side, and the textue of the case is very much like an old airline seat.

Logitech Keyboard Case: The case is sturdy and made of classy looking navy blue fabric. The keyboard is backlit and smooth plastic, navy with white lettering. The reduced-sized keyboard is still comfortable for typing, and faster than using the one on the screen. I would give it 5 stars if the sale price was the usual price and if it were a bit lighter in weight. I'm glad to have it to complete my iPad. Merry Christmas to me.

If you have an iPad Pro this is the keyboard case you want. Trust me. The keys feel amazingly good to type on and you don't feel like you're compromising by using it. Space for the Apple Pencil which is convenient. It does add substantial bulk to the skinny little iPad, but for me it's so worth it. You neve need to worry about charging the thing since it gets its juice from the iPad itself, a very cool feature. It's also quite handy to have a backlit keyboard when lighting is low. The keyboard will work whether or not Bluetooth is on, so you can still have a Bluetooth device connected , such as a wireless headphone or speaker, while using the keyboard. I give this a strong endorsement. Logitech did a really great job on this product.

Turned my iPad into a mini laptop!

I LOVE this case for my iPad pro 9.7. LOVE IT! I previously had a stand alone Bluetooth keyboard to use with my old tablet and that worked well for my iPad also. But it was extremely difficult to sit on the sofa and type and it was IMPOSSIBLE to use them together in the car (we do lots of road trips). I am a grad student and write LOTS of papers and my 17" macbook is too bulky and heavy to use anywhere but my desk. I have had this case now for 8 weeks and yesterday was the first time I used my laptop for my online class. That means I wrote 10 papers with this keyboard. It is extremely sturdy and the magnets holding the iPad are RIDICULOUSLY strong. In fact, I spent some time at Starbucks and it held the whole thing on the metal patio table, too! I have used the case in the car (as a passenger, of course) to write papers and I've used it on the couch at home. It provides excellent protection for the iPad so I don't feel worried when I throw it in my purse. I now feel like I can type a paper anywhere! Not for this particular case, but I saw questions about if you could use emojis with it- you can. Press the keyboard key in the lower left corner and the screen keyboard pops up. Press the emojis button and choose your emojis. Press the keyboard button again and it disappears. You don't have to detach from the iPad. I purchased this because I intended to just snap it on when I needed to type and then I would use a different case on my iPad when I wasn't doing school work. Maybe it's because I literally used it for school 5 days a week, but I never took it off. However, it does snap off pretty easily and without damaging the iPad. Is it thick and heavy? Come on. Of course it is! It's a quality keyboard that offers protection and works flawlessly. There is a gap except for the rubber bar to hold up one side of the iPad so the screen doesn't touch the keyboard. That means this WILL triple the thickness of the iPad and more than doubles the weight as well. BUT it works perfectly and provides protection. Plus, it's still less than 1/4 the weight of my laptop. I would HIGHLY suggest this case to anyone who wants to turn their ipad pro 9.7 into a mini laptop, especially to use for school. I would purchase it again, if I had to. And the color is really pretty, and I just wish it had been on sale like the black one when I purchased it.

Went in looking for a keyboard style case for my sister’s iPad Pro. The Apple one was well over $160. This one was sitting on a top shelf pushed way to the back with no price. I took it to the register and not only was it cheaper it was on clearance! Worth the money. She loves it.
