I have several touchscreen harmony ultimate home remotes/hubs in my home and LOVE them. We use them for tv entertainment/ wifi ac/ and phillips hue lighting. I purchaded the harmony 350 remote for my 9yr old son's bedroom so he could connect all his devices with one easy remote... Blu-ray, directv, wii u, etc... Its very easy for him to switch between devices and saves energy costs by powering everything down with one click. Super easy to program on the computer or via phone app. Comes with usb cord for firmware updates.

It's shiny and black, and it aims to be a replacement for up to 8 devices at a time. You plug it into your computer via USB cable (included) and upload information about your devices into the remote. The process is easy, and I was hopeful that it would work for the only reason I bought it: to turn on both my Smart TV and soundbar in one button press. It does that...sometimes. Other times, it will only turn on the soundbar, unless I slightly press the "Watch TV" button, in which the TV registers that I'm trying to turn it on. Whether it's Sony's fault for not understanding the Harmony signal or vice versa, it's hard to say, but it's sad that the only reason I paid $50 for this is to turn on two devices at once, and it only does that sometimes.

I had been holding off in getting a universal remote for the longest time. I got my 4 remotes down to 2 and was fine with that, until a software update on the Xbox caused one of the devices to stop responding to it's IR blasts. I didn't want to go to 3 remotes, so I took the plunge and got this remote. I didn't want anything fancy, just something to turn the volume up and down and to play and pause. This remote does the job.
A couple of negatives that are not deal breakers are:
1. Software - The Harmony software looks like it was made for Windows for workgroups 3.1. Interface is pretty ugly and even though the initial setup is easy, it is not that intuitive if you need to go back in and adjust a setting.
2. No backlight - Seriously Logitech? There are a lot of buttons and they're pretty small and not uniquely shaped, so it's not easy to know what buttons you're pressing in the dark. I find myself tilting the remote towards the TV glare to see where the buttons I need are.

I had to return the first one I purchased because the number keys would either stick or not register, but I exchanged it for the exact same model and this one works well. It is very easy to program by plugging it into the laptop... far easier than older universal remotes that required trying multiple codes. It controls most of my devices adequately. I like that it allows me to power on my tv, sound bar and cable box with the push of one button, so I don't have to do each one manually. I wish that I could use it to control Netflix and other apps through my smart tv, but as of yet haven't found a way to do that. All being said, for the price, it's a very good remote.

I've never bought a replacement for my remote control but my Sony TV remote stopped working. My main worry was not having access to the smart TV features and the Netflix button. This Logitech remote is one of the cheaper version but don't let that fool you. In less than 5 minutes I was able to program this remote to my cable box and TV. I was also able to program various buttons to access the guide, smart TV functions and direct access to Netflix. In the end, I was able to get rid of 3 remotes and replace with this one. It also feels great to hold. This was an amazing but for the price. Maybe next time I'll go for one of the fancier ones.

This is a great entry level universal remote in the Harmony family. While it doesn't have the display and additional features of the higher priced remotes in the family, it simply gets the job done at an attractive price. With the software, you can make any button do what you want, or teach it the command if it's not part of the canned capabilities.
It supports up to 8 devices and I have it programmed to control all my audio/video components throughout the house. (it helps to standardize on brands).
The only thing I wish was different is the lack of lighted buttons. It takes a little while to learn where everything is located when you start using it and lighted buttons would help make that transition easier.

This remote was pretty simple to program via the computer. On a few of my devices, they were super easy to program because they could be found in the Logitech System. For the other devices, it was a little more difficult because you have to point the existing remote just right to get everything to sync up, but it is possible. Just takes a little patience.
I bought this remote to eliminate the need for 5 different remotes for 5 separate devices and it accomplished that goal. I went with the Logitech brand based purely on word of mouth from others on their reputation. I will say that it is a bit difficult to get all the devices to come on with just one button press when using the watch tv function. It could just be my devices though... I usually only have trouble with the TV turning on/off, but that was also the case with the remote that came with the TV. I think the IR sensor on the TV is the problem and not the remote.
Other than that, I really do like this remote. I just wish the TV would come on reliably with just one press of the button (as if pressing the TV power button again is really all that inconvenient...)

This remote far exceeded my expectations. If you have more than 1 components in your set-up, this is a must-have. It's very easy to set-up and I don't have a single device it didn't recognize. I have one remote for my home theater controlling the TV, Sony receiver, Cox cable box, and an Xbox 360 (overpriced Netflix machine). It switches through components and works without issue. There is some getting used to, however. In some instances, the button label doesn't match the function, so you'll need to memorize some of the custom settings. For some people, multiple remotes are easier, and understandably so.

So glad i bought this remote. I had a little trouble setting it up but reinstalling the software took care of that. I works better with the xbox one than the xbox media remote. It doesnt have all the features but it does have all the basics and a few more.

The Logitech Harmony is a good remote that can be programmed for 8 devices, Setup is really easy on a computer but only the basic functions from each device can be operated. Got the Harmony 350 on sale and am quite pleased with the value for money spent.

I purchased this to run a relatively simple av setup. It was extremely easy to setup using the included software. It controls all my equipment as needed and battery life seems to be good. I have used it for a month with regular use and have not had to swap batteries. It does work for the Xbox one which was my main reason for purchase. The only downside is the buttons while well layed out there are a few functions missing from my cable box and the Xbox one buttons are a little odd such trying to find the back button. I believe these can be remapped using the software but have not checked that yet. Over all I would highly recommend this for someone looking to control a relatively simple av set up. If you have more than four devices or need complex commands look at one of the higher end Logitech remotes.

This remote is awesome it allows you to program it on your computer, connect it, and then sync it to the remote. Which makes programing it a lot easier than programing it like most universal remotes. For me though the main selling point was that it worked with my HTPC, and it is near impossible to find a universal remote that works with a computers IR receiver. Another nice feature is that the volume button can be programed to one device while you have another selected to control.

Decent budget remote for simple setups where you'll be watching tv most of the time. Relatively easy to set up. Nice feel to the remote but occasionally confusing when switching between devices. Still, for the money it's worth it.

Easiest way to explain was to copy information. The remote was easy to program following instruction and easy to use, this was a very good recommendation by sales associate.

Just make sure you know that this remote has one Watch TV button (the only button that combines multiple steps to one button). But there are other remotes if you want more multifunction one- button controls. If you are looking for a great universal remote to condense multiple remotes into one, this is a step above all other generic universal remotes. It works for my TV, Cable box , Apple TV, and Bose sound system. Easy online setup. I found a little difficulty with setup over a wifi connected computer. Once I did it on a computer directly connected to a router I had no problems.

I love this remote. I got rid of 4 remotes for the 1. It practically controls almost every input. I wish I knew the Amazon Firestick used an RF and stepped up to the Harmony 650.

This is an easy and simple remote to setup and use and that's NOT to talk poorly about it. The Logitech Harmony 350 is such an easy setup and usage of a device that more people should be using this. It's so simple that my wife purchased a few of these as Christmas gifts after seeing how simple it is when used with our basement TV setup.

This is the best remote I've ever owned. High quality feel and functionality. Every command is responsive. It is easy to learn and it learns easy. I love that I can link to my computer and program major command buttons and up to five favorite channels. Great remote to have.
