The Best Mouse I've EVER Used

I recently got the Logitech Vertical MX Mouse, which I liked, but my laptop didn't. I think the DPI on the Vertical is too high, so it got frustrating to click on things accurately. And to be be honest, the Vertical is just a bit difficult to get used to if you've used a traditional mouse most of your life. But, there were things about the Vertical, I truly loved, like programmable buttons on the mouse and it's rechargeable. After some research, this MX Master was the right choice. It offers many of the great programmable features on the Vertical MX, but the DPI is lower, which I knew would work better with my laptop and it's also rechargeable. I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE this mouse. It's everything I could have hoped for and then some. I can turn the volume up and down, zoom in and out, and start and stop videos, all via programmable buttons on the mouse you set up via an app on your laptop. There are too many options to list for each button, so trust me when I say it would be hard to imagine not finding an option that would make your productivity even better, all without ever having to remove your hand from the mouse. The mouse is rechargeable, via USB, and you can program it work on up to three different systems via Bluetooth. While not necessarily inexpensive, this mouse is simply remarkable and worth every single penny. I simply can't recommend this enough!

Why didn’t I buy this sooner? I thought having extra buttons on a mouse implied laziness, but I realize how productive it actually is. What I like about the mouse: -Ergonomic shape. Your hand fits nicely around the mouse, and your thumb rests comfortably while still on the mouse. -Fly wheel – This feature lets you scroll more quickly. The scrolling wheel on the top of the mouse works like any other scrolling wheel, ratcheting a few clicks at a time. However, if you’re looking to scroll through several pages, you can simply flick the wheel with a little force and instead of ratcheting it will spin continuously. When you get to where you want to on the document, you can simply use your finger to stop scrolling wheel. It’s such a simple feature, but I’ve found I use it all the time. -Side-scroll (wheel next to thumb) – This was the main feature I was looking for in a new mouse. I deal with a lot of spreadsheets, and it is much easier now to scroll sideways rather than moving the mouse to the bottom right corner of the document and manually clicking sideways. -Forward/Back buttons (just behind side-scroll) – There are two buttons that allow you to go forward or back. I find the ‘back’ button more useful. For instance, if on a webpage, you can click the ‘back’ button to go to the previous page (rather than clicking on the actual icon on the webpage). It’s also useful when drilling down file folders in Windows – if you click on the wrong folder, simply use your thumb to go back. -Directional buttons – Where your thumbs rests is its own button. In addition, you can press down the button and then move the mouse forward, back, left, or right to give you another four buttons. I paid full price at Best Buy ($60). Originally, I wanted to max out at $40. Having had the mouse, it seems like it would be worth spending $80. Yeah, it can be a chunk of money up front, but the increase in productivity is worth the price. Some other observations: Battery life: I first used the mouse out of the box and did not charge it. I got about a week of everyday use (6 days of work, 10-11 hours a day). I’ve recharged once and have been using it for two weeks. The battery life shows 2 out of 3 bars. Customizable buttons: The mouse has preset functions already loaded from which you can choose, or you can pick what you want each button to do. Just for example, options include: volume control, play/pause, cut, paste, forward, back, bring up calculator, navigate windows, zoom/rotate, etc. Cons (and these are pretty small cons, but I mention them because I’ve noticed them) 1) I wish the side-scroll wheel and the forward/back buttons were moved a little bit closer toward the front of the mouse. Because of location, I actually reversed the forward/back buttons. 2) Scrolling: when scrolling, there is a slight gliding effect at the end. So the page will slightly keep moving even when you’re ready to click on something. There isn’t a hard ‘stop’ when scrolling. Overall, it isn’t a huge deal, but if I could make the mouse perfect, I would have the glide effect removed.

I loved it! I don't use all the various buttons too much, but I do play some games where they come in handy. The variable mouse scroll style is really nice. By clicking the button below the scroll wheel, it changes the mechanics of the scroll from smooth and seamless, to a notched system. Also you can program the mouse to quickly switch from one machine to the next, up to 3—whether it's PC or Mac. Also you can customize each of the buttons exactly how you want with the downloadable software on Logitech's website. Which btw, is a very simple, elegant, and beautifully designed out software. Finally the battery is rechargeable, and you can just plug a USB cable right into the mouse for charging. The only thing that I don' love is that there aren't any notifications of my mouse battery. Maybe it's just something I haven't enabled or figured out, but my mouse will just die without any warning. Good news is, that with a couple minute charge, I'm back in business for the rest of the day.

This mouse is a little price, but the price is worth it. It has the ability to customize buttons and patterns and it is also able to be paired via Bluetooth and Unifying receiver. Battery life is great and the software is easy enough to use.

I always enjoyed Logitech's mouse and this was no exception. After looking around and researching I found this one to meet my needs the best. Great for FPS and MMO's. The mouse feels comfortable and love the multi buttons for programming. It uses AA batteries so if that isn't what you prefer then best look at one that has a built-in rechargeable battery. I myself don't mind the use of AA batteries and the huge plus is that this mouse can still run on one battery. So want to use that battery from the remote? Go for it! The battery life is great on endurance mode so I mostly keep it on that. If going through your AA batteries isn't your thing then. Also this has been rated as the best wireless mouse on the market due to it almost lag free movement and that is very important for any gamer. Always was a wired mouse gamer now I am a wireless gamer lover!

This is my favorite mouse of all time. It has Bluetooth capability and the ability to switch between three different computers on the fly (which can come in handy). It's super responsive and has smartly placed buttons (including horizontal scrolling for you Excel power users). On top of that, it's comfortable. It also has amazing battery life and a 10 minute charge when it does die can get you through the rest of your workday. If you are a heavy PC user, you need this mouse

I haven't used a mouse in a long time as I've been a trackpad person for some time (Mac User) but I needed a mouse for a company windows laptop that I had to use. I've always regarded Logitech as one of the BEST companies for keyboards and mice so I went online to BestBuy to see what was available. To my surprise, the MX master was on sale (the dark bronze version) and I picked it up. I enjoyed the versatility being not only Bluetooth compatible, but also came with a USB wireless dongle if you don't have Bluetooth (Logitech's proprietary wireless). In addition, the mouse will connect up to three different computers and you quickly and easily select with a push button on the bottom of the mouse that cycles through three different lights. The scroll wheel (with a press of a button just below the wheel) can be used in ratchet mode or smooth mode. It works absolutely perfect on my desk surface which had given other mice some issues in the past. The look and feel are super as well. Now there are two small buttons and a tiny scroll wheel for your thumb but honestly, they are just too close together for me to use. I tried but kept fumbling. No problem as I really don't need them. Perhaps if you're a gamer they could come in handy. Lastly, the battery just seems to last forever! I haven't charged it in over 2 months now. This is a great mouse and I expect nothing less from Logitech!

So the main reason I wanted this mouse is because you can use the dongle or you can connect the mouse via Bluetooth. I’m using the Bluetooth connection. Also I have a glass top on my desk and it works on that surface so really pleased about that. I got this mouse to game with on my Mac instead of using my touchpad. So very happy with this purchase.

It's a little pricey but I love it so much I even take it with me when I travel for work. I use most of the functions and choosing between the different scroll resistance is nice. It has to be charged but I've had it for almost a year and have maybe charged it 3x while using it every day. I would purchase again.

I bought this to replace my Performance MX mouse since the battery was not holding a charge for very long. I do some light gaming with it as well and the battery in this last a long time.. I haven't had to charge it since the initial charge on June 23.

This Logitech MX Master Wireless Laser mouse works great, very smooth. I really like all the features, I use the thumb wheel to raise and lower the volume of my speakers. The rechargeable battery is a plus being able to use as it's charging is very convenient. My old Logitech cordless desktop wave pro is 10 years old, I decided to update/upgrade and gave the old one to a friend to replace a wired mouse and keyboard he was using. Best Buy was very helpful in my purchase, they are always friendly and knowledgeable which makes shopping there a pleasure.

I upgraded from a Bluetooth Logitech mouse that I used for years. It probably died a natural death. I chose this because of the hyperscroll function and the familiar shape although this truly feels sportier. Love the rechargeable function. I just didn’t know the first time it ran out of power so I had to use the mouse while connected to the usb. It didn’t take too long to charge so I didn’t have to deal with that usb cable for so long. Hoping this would last for years too!! Logitech - quality products! My go-to brand!

Bought this mouse for editing but it's a comfortable mouse to use for anything. It can get the job done when it comes to gaming. However, when using this mouse on a 144hz monitor, I noticed it does not have the smoothest motion compared to a wired mouse.

Love the flexibility, scroll thumb wheel is nice, "hidden" button under thumb-rest is a nice addition. Can use on up to 3 different computers (receivers or BT), great! I do work for Best Buy, but my opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect Best Buy policy. Cant beat functionality for the price. Use it every day and working great for a few months now, long batter life & recharge w/ battery indicator is nice.

The moment I touched the mouse I knew it was the right move. It’s design feel great in hand. It has a ton of functionality with the software to make changes with the buttons. I would recommend to anyone looking for a high end mouse to do a lot of work. If you are just a casual mouse user, this may be pricey, but even then for the pain you feel in your pocket, you will feel joy in your hand.
